We were just walking around Philly looking for a place to watch football and get a cheap bite to eat and decided to go eat here. At the end of the day it wasnt a cheap quick bit but it was very good. App: Little Mac Sliders: This is kinda weird because I believe the restaurant is supposed to be Korean Fusion. These sliders are not Korean inspired at all. They are actually a take on the Big Mac. They are delicious tho. The meat was well seasoned and cooked, and the bun was super buttery. They were so good that the lady got a second order as her entree. Gochukaru Calamari: Calamari was super tender. They serve it with the fried hot peppers which is how I like it. The sauce is a typical asian-american(I assume) type of sweet and sower sauce with a little bit of a kick. I really liked it. There were 3 sliders and a small bowl of the calamari. They were a good size for sharing between 2-3 ppl. Entree: Pork Bi bim bop. This is the main reason why I picked this place. I heard about this dish, and it sounded delicious. I am a big fan of dishes served in a bowl that you mix up and eat together. First the pork was well seasoned and had a good flavor. I got a good bit of that toasted, crunchy rice that I was told about. I describe the dish as a whole as stage 2 fried rice. This is fried rice taken to the next level. It is also served with veggies that give you some more crunchy texture to the softness of the rice and meat. They gave me hot sauce. I tried a little bit of it, and it was very good, but the dish stood alone just fine. I didnt want to taint it with sauce and I would recommend only trying a little with the sauce before dumping it all over. Service: we sat at the bar. We got very good service probably in part because it wasnt very crowded and there were 2 bartenders. The meal came to about $65 with tip and we had about 3 beers. You could definitely get out of there for less. If you went in hungry you could just order the Bi bim bop and leave full. you could get in and out for $20 depending on your order and beverage consumption. Only complaint is that it was super cold. We went on a cold windy night. They dont have an alcove, so the wind/cold blows right into the place.

Went there for the Grand Opening and I have to say that this place is great. The KFC Chicken had plenty of sweet and spicy crunch that Korean fried chicken is known for. The nachos are also pretty great. They come out piled high with all types of toppings and theyre on fried wontons! If youre in midtown village or Rittenhouse its worth walking up or down to Broad street to visit bop.

The interior is well done with a semi-open kitchen, high ceilings, and a U shaped bar in the center. The menu offers interesting ideas for fusion cuisine like edamame ravioli, poke with wonton chips, and fried calamari with gochujang. Some parts of the execution was a bit lacking though, like the inclusion shredded salad in a kombu broth.

Good customer service, nice open panels design but horrible food. The chicken wings had tasted like plastered on breading which was disconnected from the chicken. The stir-fried chicken dish was extra salty. I wanted to like this place, but ended up being a big disappointment.

I get the spicy tempeh, seaweed salad and veggie broth at the Philadelphia market! Usually the big containers and more than one at once. If they had a bigger size of everything I would get those. Thanks bop Philly!

I probably wouldnt return to this restaurant. My sangria was overpriced for how watered down it was. It took us forever to get to order our entrees. The food tasted pretty good at least.
