I used to be a huge fan of this bar from when they first opened. I have also celebrated many birthdays there too. The owners are incredible and hopefully still are but the last 2 times I went there prompted this review. The waitress forgot to put in my order, it took over an hr to arrive and she never acknowledged it or apologized. Infact about 20 seconds after the other waitress put down the plate our waitress came over to ask how it was and when we responded that it just came she giggled nervously. The rest of the night she was very phony. My 2nd experience includes just a few simple words: they need an exterminator. I will not say the details because I still have respect for the owners but their staff did not handle the situation well at all and for this reason I will not be returning nor will the people Ive been bringing there for a while now. This is all too bad because their wings are delicious- but not worth the bad service or the fact that they need an exterminator.

When I went for Monday-night trivia, neither the bartender nor the waitress seemed to understand what an amber ale was, but there are many fantastic beers on tap to choose from. Theyre calorie-ridden cocktails are delicious though, and their heavy-handed vodka sodas are dangerous! Typical pub fare for a generic Sunnyside bar — great after youve knocked back two (or twelve).

I was on a quest to find some good buffalo wings in Sunnyside, and I found them here. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR THE "HOT" SAUCE though, or you will get a sweet and hot barbecue sauce. I asked for Medium at first and the waitress (very politely) changed my order and brought out some great wings. You wont find wings most places around here as most of it is Irish fare.

Absolutely the best bar in queens and def top 5 in and around nyc. Food is always above average. Service is great and the selection of beers just perfect. Happy hour 12 to 7. Orange door request for music dam cool too. Btw atomic wings here will blow ya mind. Great great place. Try it youll come back for sure...i know i will.

Love the Atomic Wings here and the bartenders are great. Have yet to try the brunch as it is suspended during Football but someday! Also there is a crazy guy who comes in half the times Ive been there and harasses the customers, wish the owner would tell him to stay away. Great place to grab a beer!

Primarily a sports bar, they have reliably good food at normal prices. Outdoor seating is great in the summer (I rarely sit inside). The best part is the attentive and kind service. As of writing this (September 2015) the waitresses and the owner all provide great customer service.

Whether you want to dine at a table (indoors or outside) or just have a meal or drink at the bar while you watch a game - bar 43 is a great choice. Reasonably priced (they could have better craft beer/brunch specials) and they are always willing to turn on whatever game you want.

Such a great bar in Sunnyside! Lived there for 15 years and this is one of the best changes. The ambiance is beautiful! Staff is friendly. Food is so good sober or drunk! Love this place! (Too bad i live in NJ. This is my visit to Sunnyside spot)

Great place. We went there during a layover at LaGuardia. Nice to pass the time. Drinks were good. Atmosphere very nice. I loved that music request app that they had to control the music. Listened to my jams all night!

Nice sports bar. Great to watch games and they have an outdoor area. Food was mediocre. I like that they have those self pour portable taps that they put on your table. Pretty good if you are rolling with a big squad.

The food isnt much, but its still a really nice comfy bar where you wont ever feel out of place. Except maybe on the weekends where it looks like people flock in from Long Island...
