My Family has been going here since they opened, we usually take out sometimes once a week. It was always great chicken quesadilla was awesome, recommended place to my friends and coworkers who also loved it. We all agree over the past year it has been a steady decline, the food is no as good they charge extra for sour cream when they dont give you enough to finish the quesadilla. My wife and I had no children last night and decided to dine in at the new location across 25a from the old little place. Upon arrival the hostess said she had a high top in the bar and a table in the dinning room. We chose the table not knowing it was in the narrow pathway that every time some one went by they would bump the table, my wife was getting annoyed so I asked if we could switch to the four top in the corner the kind waitress said should not be a problem but needed to check with the hostess. I was surprised when she returned and said no, they are seating someone there now, so we grin and bear it. After 10 minutes no one was seated there. So now I was angry that the lied to us, I got up and told the waitress that wasnt right she just didnt want to loose the four top to two people, she replied thats what she was told to tell us. So we got up and went next door to Spuntinos and had a nice meal. That was the last straw for Del Fuego.

My husband, son and I went to the new St. James location for dinner this evening, and I was completely disappointed. The decor is great, but the food was below par. We had eaten at the old location accross the street about a year or so ago and loved it. The food, the vibe, and the service was awesome. I felt as if the new location was a completely different place. Our server never went over the specials and my meal in particular was bad. I ordered the Yucatan chicken enchiladas. They were swimming in what I thought was a green verde sauce, but tasted like strong white vinegar, and they also werent hot enough inside. My husbands lobster quesadilla could have had more flavor (ie:cilantro). I was also confused with their so called "Saturday Sangria" night. You would think that would mean a deal on sangrias by the glass or pitcher. It amounted to $5 off a pitcher that originally costs $39. Very over priced, and still $10 for a single glass. Ill stick with my local authentic neighborhood Mexican joint, thanks.

I ate at this Del Fuego location for the first time after driving my Dad back home from the eye doctors. We were the very first customers of the day around 11:45AM and got to choose our seating. We chose a comfortable booth in the center of the restaurant and ordered from the lunch special menu. We both got burritos and a drink for $10 which is a pretty good deal! We also ordered the fried avocados which were much more pricey at $8, however still delicious. The appetizer chips were very light and perfectly salted. My shredded chicken burrito was very good, and the fried avocados were also very good but more on the oily side as expected. I would definitely want to come back to try out their huge drink menu with my friends, their happy hour deals were appealing! Overall, I plan on coming back soon to try their drinks and other food items on the menu.

Del Fuego is a great Tex-Mex restaurant in St. James. It recently moved to new premises (across the road from the old location) which are bigger - which is good, as it was busy and bustling on the Thursday night we ate there. Almost every night they have some special offer (e.g., Taco Tuesday, Margarita Monday). Food is great, as well as being pretty cheap, and the free tortilla chip/dip combo is a really great touch (with the dip being really excellent). The burger I had was really one of the best Ive had in the USA. They also have a reasonable collection of hot sauces, from the slightly hot to the very hot.

We ate at the bar. Waited about 20 minutes for a spot at the bar to open up but the atmosphere was good. When we sat at the bar we waited 10 mins and i had to ask the bartender to clear the prior customers drinks, plates, etc. and then asked her to wipe the counter. when i did sje got a little annoyed can you imagine? Im the customer wanting a clean place to eat and she was annoyed at me . i ordered the snapper. for $20 it was cold, dry and hard as if it was under a heat lamp for a long time. overall a poor experience.

Dont go here!! he owner was rude an obnoxious. Stopped in to have few drinks and something to eat with 1 cop and 3 Military guy just off tour from over seas.Last I thought we were in america and people respected the Military and the service of our police. This place made it a point to not only not let us in because we pulled up on bikes, but make a seen to not let us in and say he wasnt serving us. Truly, this what we have become. If you respect our Military and our Police you will not patron this place.

Warm atmosphere, nice decorating. Bar is beautiful. Food was poor. Bad Tex-Mex. They need a lesson from the west. Drinks are good I hear, my Margarita was good but served in a small glass, which was not worth it. The larger specialty Margaritas were $2 more, but you got a full drink. Dark meat shredded chicken is just not my thing, and it was dry as can be. Wings were good. Salsa served complimentary was actually very delicious. I would give it one more try but I will order Fajitas next time.

very good food pricing a little high but that is what your are going to get in the St James area. The client base is the Nissequoque and Head of he Harbor as well as the St. James area. All in all the food is very good. I do frequent there when my budget allows. Staff is very courteous and the decor is nice as well., They are moving across the street to larger facilities which the expansion will allow short seating times. They are in demand that is true. Enjoy

Top restaurant in Saint James. The food is sooooo good. I really like the brisket. Since they moved to the new location they have so much more room and the bar is a cool place to hang out in. Good selection or craft beer including an exclusive from PJ Brewing. You can go there and eat pretty cheap but sill leave full or you can spend a little extra and get something that will rock your socks! Either way, you will leave happy!

Honestly think that I was served dog food. I went this afternoon with my wife, and we both agreed out meat was not right. Tacobell by far has better quality food than this mexi joint. The Mangos were the only thing I could brag about but who knows they probably were fake. Sorry for the horrible review just being honest.... look out you may get sick from the undercooked raw meats.

Regular customer, ate at new location for 1st time this week. More seating , larger bar. Looks good . Food service was very slow, over30 min. Staff is new, not up to old standards. Food was warm not hot. They had a few returns from tables around us. I hope the continue to provide quality food and service and not just become a Mex Bar! I am sure they will get the glitches out.
