So my afternoon started off walking the village of Spencerport for a few drinks.. I see the galley for the first time and I decided to give it a shot! I walk in and go to the bar to order a drink, ask for a menu and the bartender (bigger older guy) was so rude with no emotion what so ever on his face, and neglected to serve us and told us to go get a table and order as I was looking at the menu.. ONLY LOOKED AT THE MENU FOR 2 seconds literally! Worst ever and I will NEVER walk foot back into that place.. sad people dont take their jobs seriously..if I was a boss I would of sent him home to get his attitude straight before serving my customers in my facility.

Just happened to have walked in this place, would never have stopped if I saw the ratings. However, we had a pretty good meal, our server, Heather, was excellent. This is a place that could have a lot better rating with some reinvestment. It has a fun vibe, but if it was focusing on quality, it would be much more popular and profitable. It fell short of 5 stars, but I would still recommend trying it. Had the Galleyweck Sandwich, which was extremely salty on the bun, more than I could handle. Everything else was decent, although they overemphasize the giant screen TV unless you are a giant sports fan its not that nice.

The seating on the canal was the only upside to eating here. The food was greasy. The appetizer platter was 6 different items thrown onto a plate with a basket of fries dumped on top. The wing sauce was 90% oil, the coleslaw was watery with no flavor and the pulled pork was littered with chunks of fat and crusty pieces of overcooked meat. The chicken cordon bleu was bland and the meat was dry.

I was lucky to have lunch here two weeks ago while riding on #theeriecanalride I stopped here for lunch and ate on the outside patio almost on canal. The view and service only surpassed by the Best Beef on Weck ever!!! The roast beef is piled high and served with horseradish, AuJus and the best Weck roll ever! Hands down best Beef on Weck I have eaten. Try this restaurant!!

My favorite place for a Fish Fry. On nicer days, you can eat canal side, and enjoy the sites. Decor is kitchy, but fun. Pretty decent food for an inexpensive meal. Our waitress, Tammy, is attentive and very pleasant. Ive never had a bad meal here. In fact, the fish fry I just had may rank in the top five of meals Ive had. I just really enjoy this play.

My experience here has typically been average. Service is average, food is average, prices are average, but the location is great. Sit outside in the back on the canal if weather permits. I give it four stars because if you get average plus a great view then its better that three stars. Will probably continue to be a repeat customer.

Worse salad ever. Lettuce , pepper, chicken not cut up. No olives nor cucumber. Nothing was mixed up. The cheese was from a bag and no pride in this salad. The chicken had no taste. The Taco shell was so greasy that I could not eat it. Never will I return. The only great thing was the friends and view of canal.

I have been here once for drinks and just recently for food. Service was very good. The soup and the sandwiches were above average and I must say that after reading other negative reviews here Im going to say that those folks are smoking something funny? I will be back and will invite friends also 4 stars for me!

Service was awesome with Lannie, it was busy and she kept coming out letting us know our food was coming shortly and checking to make sure we were ok. My boyfriend and I havent been there in about 6 month because the last time we were there is was not a good experience. Definitely an improvement!

The service was terrible, the food was greasy, and the owner was walking around the place in a manner I can only assume was drunk. I would not recommend this restaurant with other nicer places very nearby.

food is terrible. Listened as the owner blamed his watress for bad food and slow kitchen. The bar must be the only thing keeping these guys in business.

Mediocre bar food at best. The only real reason I would go back is to have some cocktails along the canal...thats why I gave it an extra star.

0 effort put into the food. Complete grease. Margarita was the worst Ive had. And they even forgot my coleslaw with my fish fry! :(

Food needs improvment. Under cooked, overcooked, poor presentation. Not lookin for 5 star service but 3 would be nice.

The best bartender in the west side. Tammy the greatest and I really enjoyed the chicken wings.
