Both times I went to the drive-through (at different times of the day) they got my order completely wrong and left out entire parts of it. I went inside to order food another time and waited over half an hour before getting the food. The food quality is fine, but Id love to get the items that I actually paid for, and in a timely manner. It seems like there is no system behind the counter and everyone is just running around separately, because standing here looking at a full bucket of chicken, its hard to figure out how it could take so long to put it in a box and hand it to me.

Chicken is very good. Service was kind of slow..but it will get better as time goes on.. they have to iron out some things. Chicken is always hot and fresh. No!! they dont keep their food in a Uhaul..thats rubbish. Do you realize how many people would get ill..and they would shut them down. Give this place a chance. They are tens times better than KFC. At least Popeyes chicken is done. KFC gives you chicken thats not done...and the people at KFC have attitudes and dont want to work. Popeyes of Poughkeepsie is awesome!

On 3 occasions there were errors in my order. Its bad enough that the service is extraordinarily slow but there just seems to be a lack of attention to the task at hand. It always feels like they just toss you food in a box then in a plastic bag and shove it out the window. Meal combos were missing part of " the combo" each time. KFC is a block away and is also a drive thru and service much better. Will be taking my money there.

Im in Pok., N.Y. 12601 :) Popeyes is new to our area :) Im sitting in the restaurant right now & the young man that waited on us was above & beyond super nice, my Sis. & I really enjoyed our visit & we will be back again, if not for nothing than to joke w/staff & enjoy another good time :) Thanks For Being So Wonderful

The people working here are incredibly friendly and nice. The establishment is clean and well kept. The food was good. I highly recommend the beans and rice. My only complaint, I ordered a 3pc chicken meal and felt like I got a one and half piece. Portion size of the chicken could be better.

So I just got some Popeyes and Ill tell you Id rather go the city for it they are much nicer, or server mila was very rude and have bring but attitude and constantly rolled her eyes. Im sorry but there are not a lot of people here and if you hate your job that much find a new one

The food was hot and service was okay, the staff was not very attentive toward cleaning. The garbage was overflowing by the soda machine & 2 employees looked at it and kept walking by nothing was filled had to keep asking for straw, lids 4 cups etc. Kinda

I always been a fan of popeyes from living in the south. The popeyes in Poughkeepsie need better management. Too many people working and to still run slow. And double drive thru shouldnt be there. The one in Kingston runs a whole lot better with 3-5 staff.

Disgusting soggy cold chicken. Go local for good, fresh food. Youll pay the same amount but youll get fresh hot food. Raymond Ave is right next door and can provide so much more for the same price but better quality! 0 stars

Bought 6 piece "nuggets" came as a tender cut up & RAW - bought a 5 piece tender combo and they were RAW tried to call but they just have an answering machine - please be careful & look at the food before you eat-

Not too bad for a newly opened restaurant. Found the food to be a lot greasier than at other Popeyes. The prices were excellent. Will be giving it another chance after its been open for a while longer.

For a fast food restaurant the side dishes are pretty good. The biscuits are tasty. The staff is friendly and hard working. The chicken is horrible and the service is ridiculously slow.

I read on here that someone said they keep their chicken out back in a unrefrigerated truck. This isnt true. Im sick quite a bit and cant cook alot. Popeyes is quick and easy and good.
