I know this place is popular but the whole attitude of the staff isnt very welcoming. I went there with my boyfriend since he hasnt been and was excited to try their beers. I am vegan and there is only 1 vegan option, a barley burger, that comes with either fries or a salad. The menu should state that the fries are not vegan. They are cooked in the same oil as deep-fried meat according to the waitress, making them not vegan-friendly. This would be like trying to serve a vegan vegetable soup made with chicken stock. And unfortunately I could taste residual meat on the outside of my burger..seems as though they dont use an uncontaminated surface for the vegan burger. I originally asked for the tacos but with veggies instead of mahi, and they were unwilling to add veggies which just seems ridiculous and lazy to me. Im going to avoid this place as much as possible! Karavalli is a great sit-down place for vegans in Saratoga so Ill stick with them when I want to go out for food.

I had the opportunity to visit Druthers Brewing Company for lunch. I was taken in by the rustic atmosphere; and could not fail to notice how it complemented the eclectic menu. I appreciated the fact that locally produced food items are prominently featured on the menu. It was a menu that was not only diverse: it also contained original items not found in other restaurants. My guests and I enjoyed the beer cheese and pretzel appetizer. The pretzel pieces were warm and fresh; and the dip was flavorful and rich. Our meals were not rushed out so we had time to fully enjoy the appetizer. When the meals did arrive, they were beautifully presented and also more than sizable to ensure you would be leaving with a takeout container. Even though the restaurant was doing a brisk business, we in no way felt rushed. The waitress was attentive and service was commendable. Overall, it was a dining experience that I look forward to repeating.

Was so excited to try this place but was so disappointed and I gave it a try 3 times. Cocktails were $9 & up to start for a Well(House) drink of Vodka and club soda with a lemon. Beer chips were good! Then had the Strawberry and Spinach Salad very disappointed. The spinach was soggy almost slimey on the bottom on one side and then there it was, the hair. Grossed out! My friend ordered the Strawberry Rhubarb Hummus was pretty dried out not much flavor and the waiter came by 40 mins after dropping off. Long story short nothing was taken off or discount waiter just apologized and that was that. Too many chances even wont go again and wont refer. Disquisted with sticky tables too. Also went to the McGregor golf course one too. Over priced but like the site at the golf course.

I would definitely go here again -- good food, great service and nice atmosphere. I had the Shredded Corned Beef Sandwich. It was very large and slightly sloppy but very tasty. My friends were very pleased with their meals. (They had an Ugly Burger and Braised Short Rib Sandwich.) They have a brewery upstairs so if you are a fan of trying different beers this is the place for you. Not expensive either -- around $6. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different beers. It was very busy but the hostess made an effort not to sit everyone right next to each other. There is a large courtyard where you can sit outside but we opted to sit inside because it was very hot.

To be honest, I hated this place when it first opened. Service was iffy, and the menu wasnt that great. Theyve worked through their issues though, and I now enjoy going here, instead of internally groaning when the group picks it. I am generally happy with the menu and service. The atmosphere is great- outdoor patio bar, one of the best hangouts in Saratoga. It sort of reminds me of Stone in Escondido. The reason I only give it 4 stars is that Im not a beer drinker, and I havent seen anything special for those of us who want a buzz on a warm summer night under the stars, without drinking the brew. If I could find an awesome liquor drink there itd be the complete package for me.

Came on a whim while visiting from out of town. Totally worth it. Loaded Mac and Cheese was some of the BEST M&C Ive ever had. Ever. Thats a bold statement, but its true. Burger was okay, and fries were great. I also had a flight and really enjoyed their beer... Hats off to the Wit and Oatmeal Stout. Id give this place a 5, but there were SO MANY flies during our time there (we were inside too). At some points I could only eat/drink with one hand while the other protected our food. Im not used to that, so it threw me off. Food and drink were great though so Id definitely recommend coming here!

While I was heartbroken when I found out that this brewpub didnt do pizza, I drowned my tears in a flight of their beers and ordered the pork belly ramen. The beer was hit or miss for me. Everyone has different tastes and there is a style for everyone despite how limited the beer list is at first glance. The ramen was fantastic and perfectly spicy. The Druthers building is a little hard to find and is tucked away in some sort of courtyard. It also has a weird, dark, cramped feeling on the inside. Maybe not a great atmosphere but good beer and great food make it worthwhile!

Easily one of my favorite spots in the Capital Region. I have been coming here consistently for years. The food is incredible. They rotate their menu items every season and so far every item Ive tried has blown me away. Their beer is top notch. Amber Ale is a go to favorite, the Truth Serum is nice and high in its ABV and the Scottish Style is so flavorful. The atmosphere is great. Always a popular spot but never feels overly-busy. The staff have always been very friendly and down to earth. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

AWESOME burgers. This is stick to your ribs American comfort food. The Mac NCheese... comes in a many delicious varieties, the burgers are mouth watering, and the brew has that micro brew appeal. This place has a wait most times so come early and bring a book, a smart phone, or a fellow conversationalist... especially during racing season. They do have text message alerts so you can walk around town while you wait but dont go more than 5 minutes away. We sat outside which was pleasant enough, and the service was good to great.

A forward thinking place with an interesting menu. I would like to see a couple of Italian choices like baked manicotti and crusted bread always good with a cold brew not just wine. Also some carbonara again snack food not too filling to leave room for beer. Mini portions are good as well since women often have smaller appetites and like to try a few things and one large choice limits that.. I would not sacrifice price just smaller and priced for profit.... Its all about choices? Cant hurt to try..

Havent had a bad dish yet. Great atmosphere. EDIT: Ive had a bad dish and its the Korean short rib tacos. I had my doubts when ordering but figured Id give it a shot. The gojuchang is flavorless and the meat was hard to chew. The carrot and cucumber slaw is more of a Vietnamese flavor. And the wontons do nothing for the dish. The kimchi was the best thing on the plate. If I were making this dish I would remove the slaw and wontons, slice the beef smaller, and put the kimchi right on the taco.
