Sharon Crowley, the long time bartender and waitress, has just taken over ownership and has really cleaned the place up. And Im not just talking about a fresh paint job and steamed carpets. The Garth Road Inn is brighter and more welcoming than ever. Along with about 5 brand new flat panel televisions including the gem 65" across from the bar. Really a great place to watch sports now! The food has improved as well including multiple new menu items. Always great steak, burgers and grilled chicken. But the new nachos with chili and all the fixings are great too; get some barbecued chicken on it! But the real gem of their new specials is their turkey meatball sliders! Claiming to be homemade by Sharon herself with homemade marinara sauce on almost brioche-like buns; they are truly excellent and are flying out of the kitchen! This is not a fancy dancy upscale restaurant or a world renowned steak house. If you are looking for good solid food time in and time out, with affordable alcohol and a great pub atmosphere, this is the place for you.

I cannot say enough good things about the Garth road inn. They are your local cheers, the place you stop by for a bite on your way home from the train. The bartenders (ahem Lorraine) know your go-to drink and have it ready for you before you even sit down. I threw my fiancé a surprise 30th here and omg the staff was amazing. Not only did we have the best homemade chicken fingers and a ton of other apps passed but we had an awesome open bar, the waitstaff literally had everyones order memorized and passed a fresh drink before they were even done. My fiancé was beyond surprised and we had the best time ever! I love the Garth road inn and even more so love Sharon and her crew. I highly recommend Garth road inn for any event as they will work with you above and beyond your expectations. Events are amazing but a weekday burger and beer is their specialty

This local watering hole is by far one of the best places to be on any given night. Not only is the food great, especially if youre looking for a good Irish dish, but the staff are very warm and friendly. Whether you want to have a great time with the staff at the bar or just come to get a good meal in the dining area, its hard not to have a good time. PS they do have trivia night and it is a lot of fun. You can win free meals, appetizers, drinks, etc. You absolutely should come with a well rounded team, because their are some serious competitors here and they know their stuff!

I got the "sandwich of the day" which was Chicken Parm and it was rubbery and obviously of the frozen premade type. My wife got a ham and cheese which look like something Id make at home after a late night of drinking... 2 slices of American cheese and 2 slices of packaged lunch meat. There are many places to eat in this area.. pick another.

Chicken fingers are really good.. there is a waitress named Lorraine there. She makes some really good drinks. If you like strong drinks and are feeling adventurous, have her come up with something for you. You cant go wrong!!
