Ive been to Tigin several times now. The food good, but its nothing to rave about. Generally, the service is alright if you are dining earlier in the evening, but it does tend to become crowded after 8pm. Unfortunately if you go later in the evening for drinks with friends, prepare to encounter the some of the most miserable and unprofessional staff. One waitress took the stool away from my boyfriend when he stood up. When I tried to let her know that he was still sitting there, she glared at me yanked it farther away. I was the designated driver that evening, and I asked for water from the bar from three different bartenders to only be ignored. I hope that my most recent experience is an anomoly because I think that Tigin could be a really great place to hang out with friends, but based on my most recent experience I wont be going back anytime soon.

This place has a bit to be desired. Maze like, cramped spaces and servers and bouncers who think they are Greek gods. The patrons dont really help the scene. They used to be hot but I guess the uglies followed. Oh well, families are always rising and falling in America. I suggest walking in for a Guiness and a good laugh although Brickhouse will put them to shame. Gosh, I dont know if thats even saying much.

I came her because of the good ratings and was not disappointed. The food was too notch. It was typical Irish food with a twist which I really enjoyed. Yes the fish and chips was good but the star was the corned beef and potato dumplings. Our server was really sweet but the guy seating really did not seem like he wanted to be there but over all really great! Go here.

Staff is excelent and friendly. The atmosphere is great and they have a good variety of beers always served cold in a chilled glass. After they upgraded the kitchen I thought they would ruin the good Irish menu with new standard American bar fare. Luckily they kept most of it and added a few new tasty treats. Love the Irish breakfast. Great food, beer and company.

Authentic Irish pub ie tight corners minimal seating gets crowded inside easily. The outside is nice in the summer but the lack of service makes it frustrating. The food is good and they have Heineken on draft which is rare in Stamford. If your not claustrophobic and waiting over 10 minutes for a drink outside doesnt bother you, then this is a 5.0 spot.

One of my favorite places in Stamford, CT. With a very relaxed atmosphere, the bartenders and wait-staff are fantastic. The music is often very good, there are many TVs available all over the bar if youre into sports. During the summer, the front patio facing Bedford St. is open if you feel like drinking/eating outside.

Love this place.. its been a home away from home for years.. dont expect a buy back, and no the staff cant drink with you, but they are consummate professionals, and actually enjoy working there. Highly recommended for a nice afternoon pint, and some surprisingly good food. Not cheap, but still reasonable.

1 1/2 blocks from the Stanford Palace theater. Great Irish pub. Bar apps were delicious and generously portioned. Caught happy hour pricing. $5 for 2 fish tacos fabulous, a bargain even at regular pricing, and the giant warm pretzel and dipping sauce was grand. Highly recommended.

I live about 50 yards from here, but even if I didnt Id make the trek. Unlike any bar youve ever been to. Good beer selection, good food, good service. The only negative thing is how packed it can get on weekends, but I guess that comes with the territory of being a great pub.

Awesome spot that is a favorite in downtown Stamford. Huge space with great food and not one, but two bars. There is also a fireplace which makes for a great area to drink. The atmosphere is cozy with dim lighting which makes you feel at home here. I highly recommend it!

Probably the most authentic Irish pub in Stamford, best place to get a glass of fresh Guinness. They have TVs with a regular soccer/football schedule and I believe rugby. Dark and cozy as an Irish pub should be. Might be a fireplace, I forget.

Cant say enough good things about Tigin. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to us Arsenal gooners. Love the Irish Breakfast, and the beers on tap are gorgeous. My favorite pub in Connecticut.

I loved this place the first time I stepped in. Very friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and yummy wings. Try their alternate take on Wings with the Guiness sauce (vs Bufallo).. I loved it.

Really fun, divey bar that hosts events like trivia. Very popular with college students, young professionals and joe shmoes. Fun place to hang out and great beer selection. Pub food style.

Though the menu has become more Americanized, I still recommend Tigins to anyone looking for a pint and a great Irish breakfast. THE place in Stamford to watch rugby and soccer.

An absolutely pathetic bar...the poor managers are just as incompetent as their employees...this bar is doomed...way to many good bars in Stamford to even consider going here

My go to spot in Stamford, especially in the summer because of the outdoor seating. One of the more relaxed placed to get a drink on the Belford St. strip. Food is good too.

I love this place. Great atmosphere and great service. The best is having a pint of Guinness outside during the summer. Stop by and watch a game of football (soccer?).

If you like drinking outside on the busy downtown Stamford sidewalks, this place is for you. Inside, the bar has a few cool nooks that give it an intimate feeling.

Casual Irish bar on lively Bedford St of Stamford near multiple popular bars and restraunt. Must stop in for a Guinness. Food here is also on par.
