THE DREAM CHASER
WOW! Seems everyone, loves this place!!! Did I walk into the wrong deli! Is there another Park Ave in RVC? There must be! The Park Ave Deli I visited had an extremely long wait time, the price for a sandwich, soda, and a small bag of chips was close to twenty dollars! The sandwich was bland and lacked any flavor at all with the exception of to much salt. A whopping three slices of meat and one whole paper thin slice of cheese... They even skimped out on the Mayonnaise! They mustve applied it to the sandwich with a toothpick. I couldve gotten the same cheap dry tasting sandwich at 7- Eleven for $4.95.

How the hell this place got a 4.8 out of five stars is mind boggling! The food here is no better than the thousand other delis Ive been to before. The bread is hard and tasteless, the meat and cheeses used are low quality, surely not a name brand. The salads (Potato, Slaw, Mac) come from a A five gallon bucket, they are not home made. Normally a 3 Star Deli, the one Star rating is for the ridiculously exorbitant prices they charge. Am I in a posh five-star restaurant in Manhattan? Or a lousy little deli in Rockville Centre?

What did RVC do before Park Ave. Deli arrived on the scene? Where did people go for salads and wraps, and sandwiches and such. If this Deli were to disappear i think i would stop eating altogether. Everything is good...

Incredible food, incredible service, feels like an old style deli with all the trimmings. For those of you fondle old School deli sandwiches where everything is handmade this is the place to go. Highly recommend it.
