Had the worst experience ever at TGI Fridays in Newburgh tonight. It wasnt remotely busy, less than half of the tables and booths were full and quite obviously for good reason. We waited to be seated for about 10 minutes because the guy at the door said he was going to clean a booth for us. After 2 other parties were seated, one of the girls came and said she was never told where to put us so we were waiting unnecessarily since we were put somewhere that was already clean and available. After being seated, it took almost 20 minutes for our waitress to come over to introduce herself and take a drink order. We waited over 30 minutes for our appetizer to come out and another 10 for an order of fries. The appetizer plates were soaking wet and smelled like bleach. We had to ask for napkins to dry them off ourselves. The entrees came out shortly after the appetizers were on the table and there were multiple problems there as well. The reuben sandwich was so hard that the bread couldnt be cut through with a steak knife. It must have sat under a heat lamp for at least 20 minutes after being toasted. The pecan crusted chicken salad was ordered with no blue cheese and came out looking like extra was added and one of the cheeseburger came out burnt. Our waitress didnt even come to check on our food until it was cold and not worth sending back since we were picking at whatever was edible. We didnt see her again until we received our check (which we had to request from one of the other employees since our server was MIA most of our visit there, which was about 2 hours) When she saw it handed the to us she came over annoyed asking if we needed more time with the check knowing it was given to us less than a minute prior. This was by far the worst dining experience any of us had ever experienced and we now have no intention of returning there again.

Me and my boyfriend stopped at Fridays for some dinner... now, this is not an easy task for us, as I am lactose intolerant. I have no idea what I can eat at Fridays, I dont go there often. We walk in, the servers whisk us to a high booth by the bar. We get a sweet server named Imani. Imani asks us for drinks and I immediately go about my spiel about my allergy and ask if she can check the wing sauce for milk/butter. Absolutely! she says. Me and my boyfriend are having a nice time, he leaves to use the restroom, and then a woman comes rushing to our table. SO SWEET! She introduces herself as Joy, the manager whose name I noticed on the door when we first walked in. She discusses all the food options and tells me how things are prepared. When we determined wings werent an option she checked the bun ingredients for their burgers. (Buns have milk, fyi) she then tells me they have a french bread and I go with that even though they dont have the ingredients on hand for it (it didnt have that yellow color that comes with butter items) we discuss my whole meal and how to prepare it. When she left, me and my boyfriend were stunned with the service. Imani was excellent and sweet. Joy found us before she left for the night to check on us one more time. This is incredible to me, because usually I am met with indifference/annoyance eating out. I was blown away by the attentive behavior. Thank you so much for a pleasant meal ladies! It meant a lot!

My husband and I had lunch there today. My husband ordered a jack Daniels burger which came out fine. I ordered the call your own burger which you can subsitue a turkey burger instead of a beef burger. However you get to pick from a selection of cheese, a condiment and then two additions. So I asked for the turkey burger with smoked Gouda, truffle aioli, guacamole and bacon. What I received was a turkey burger with a cold slab of Gouda and when I spoke to our waitress about it she apologized and took it right back to the kitchen. What came back was two slices of bacon on the cold Gouda and brown guacamole in a small dish. Granted our waitress didnt bring back my burger someone else did. When the waitress saw the guacamole she felt even worse. Our waitress said she spoke to the manager and she should be coming over but she never did. Needless to say we will never go back due to the cook and fact the manager could not take a minute of her time to come and address the issues. They werent busy there were 4 tables filled and no one in the bar area. The only reason they get a one is because of our waitress.

today is valentines day of 2015 its 6pm I stopped in at the tgi Fridays for some dinner by myself and for some take out for my mother who is at work. my waitress was very nice and pleasant her name was kayla. the food was horrible I ordered a special 2 for $50 deal that they have going on today. my order was the salmon with lobster tail, mash potatoes, and baked mac and cheese. the lobster tails were very small and burnt on the grill. they tasted like gas from the stove the salmon was okay, the reason I ordered that was because I wanted lobster. I order a separate order to go of ribs and steak I havent discovered the outcome of that since I havent opened it and Im still in the restaurant. I made one more order for a friend who was going to show up mid meal and it was sizzling chicken and shrimp. That entrée was gross the food was dry and didnt look anything as advertised. I wouldnt come here especially for valentines day the only good thing out of this experience was seeing some guys proposal to his girl friend. my bill was $78.26.

My wife and I have a very crazy schedule and dont get to eat out very often! Tonight was an exception! We found time in between Girl Scouts and our sons hockey game to stop in and eat! We were seated quickly and our order was taken fast. As our food came out, the manager (Cory) comes over and says hello and hands me a beer on the house! He remembered us from a year ago and knowing that we used to come in a lot, says I havent seen you in a while! How have you been? Its great to see you! My wife and I were totally taken back by the fact he remembered us and noticed we hadnt been in for a while. As a business owner, Its nice to see the level of dedication that cory puts towards his job! The service was amazing! The food was on point and most importantly, the customer service put a smile on our faces! With more and more restaurants popping up, it is nice to know our business was appreciated. We will definitely be coming back again in the near future!

Awful service. I ordered two drinks and both were made incorrectly, the second one was not even close to what I had ordered. The bartender was joking with a server that she makes them wrong because its easier, and because nobody notices. Was served completely raw bacon. Took ten minutes to receive a glass of water, to which the bartender joked that I must not be that thirsty. I was given the wrong check. Took 15 minutes to get each drink and food I ordered, mind you I was one of three customers at this time. I had to ask the bartender for everything, not once did she inquire as to what I needed. I will never be going back unless it is to videotape the awful staff and service they provide. Next time I will be going to Chilis, which is right across the road. Already feeling Ill from the **** they served me.
