It sucks that Katherine is never there when I go for my iced coffee or pastry! Im not sure if she works there anymore or not but her customer service was always fabulous! Im not a morning person but her friendliness, along with Garys, was that little kick that allowed me to change my mood for the day. Ive gone recently and Ive got nothing but stank attitude, my very easy beverage prepared incorrectly, and even the side eye for asking for extra milk! :( I ran in today at about 10 am and some girl at the counter barely greeted me when I walked in, and didnt care to add extra soy milk to my coffee when I was asked for it politely (was it because it was free from my rewards? Who knows!). When he handed me my drink I smiled and notified her I was going to add sugar and drink some of the coffee to make more room for milk. As I went fixed my drink and returned to ask for more milk, she shooed my hand away to grab my drink (?!), she adds more milk AND THEN MORE COFFEE?! Lol why? I said more MILK, hence me drinking to leave room for it .

They place parties of 2 at the large table when there are tables for 2 available. Meanwhile a group of 7 is in line in front of my group of 4. So getting seated took longer than necessary, if only they were sensible and placed couples at tables for 2. Second of all, we get our forks and knives placed on our table after people who had come after us, and our order was also taken after people who had been seated after us. Staff is not particularly friendly either. Id rather go to other LPQ locations as I have had better service elsewhere. Furthermore, my sister wanted to buy one of their chocolate spreads and they added the cost of the spread to our dine in bill, which makes it harder for patrons to accurately calculate tip. They probably do that in an effort to get higher tips. Very annoying

The food is really good, my bad experience with the cashier was not so nice I was charged way over the price for a side of smoked salmon, then when I brought it to her attention she wasnt nice, I only ordered a side of smoke salmon which I get all the time and my co workers do as well, thank god for the manager who reimbursed me back.. she keep talking as tho I wasnt there stating I ask for the other which I have never Order before. She didnt even say sorry, but keep talking.

Le cadre est très charmant et très français, les produits sont bons et ils proposent des plats végétariens ou dorigine biologique. Cependant les plats sont peut-être un peu chers pour les quantités et les accompagnements proposés.

Cesar Kale salad was dry I had to ask about extra dressing, croutons wasnt croutons they looked and tasted like an old bread. Didnt finish it Also waitress brought for us bread and it was very dry and she forgot about butter. Mint Lemonade was too sour and tastes like water with lemon. Few words about the waitress. I was looking at her , waiting when shell take my order, but she even didnt pay attention. Was walking by to different customers like Im invisible

kind of confusing how to sit and order at first, because it is a community table. at least a little different from what im used to... but delicious, so delicious. love their mini muffins, especially the pistachio. very friendly, wonderful soups. often crowded however, and when looking for a quiet private breakfast before the hubhub of the workday, perhaps look elsewhere.... but otherwise, highly recommended.

Great place to meet and have a meeting. Outshines the starbucks across the street; the lattes come in great big mugs where you can feel like you got your moneys worth and have a cozy experience. The tables are quaint and the setup of the place is interesting and fun. Cozy up to some strangers and share a meal with a few of them at the great large communal tables to share your daily bread.

This is a nice cafe style place with lots of character. I stopped in and ordered the soup of the day (a delicious tomato soup) and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate in particular was was very good, rich, and chocolatey (you are give a tiny pitcher filled with melted chocolate to add to drink - good idea). I hope to go again to try the rest of the menu.

since this chain expanded, the bread is always dry, as if it came out of the oven 12-15 hours ago (which it most assuredly did). its too bad, because the bread is good--if you can get it quasi-fresh, e.g. 7-8 a.m. by the end of the day, its dried out & its a crime that theyre selling @full price. avoid the weekends unless you like crying children.

while the service at this particular location ranges from mediocre to non-existent, the food itself is pretty reliable, with solid tartines, decent salads, and delicious baked goods. occasionally the vegetables (tomatoes in articular) can be completely unripe, but overall this is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I love Le Pain for its WiFi, breads, desserts, coffee, hummus, veggies and atmosphere. The waiters are friendly and the location is amazing. Ive been to this Le Pain Quotidien several times and its always consistent. The only item on the menu I wasnt wild about is the spinach quiche, besides that I love it all.

They have the worst service. The food is fine but when you wait for a salad more than 20 minutes you just dont wanna eat. Also I was waiting for a sauce for my salad over than 15 minutes and I actually left without getting it. They still charged us even we didnt eat the salad. Btw we eat there every Sunday

"Nice bakery with a large communal table" undersells this place. Thats true, but they also have plenty of tables for those who prefer. Most of all, the Belgian waffle was the single best piece of food Ive ever eaten. Life changing experience.

these belgian cafes serve an elevated version of cafe grub at elevated prices. the hot chocolate is scrumptious. the provincial decor massages the souls of patrons feasting on mindbogglingly expensive plates of bread and cheese.

My absodabalutely bestest restaurant in the entire NYC! Love the concept of Le Pain and would love to set up my Ciolaingo Franchise to reflect the same success. Love the story of the Founder and the heritage of the whole concept!

the best quiche lorraine and vegetarian quiche(avoid the 7 vegetable quiche) in the city. reasonably good coffee and overflowing bread basket. chicken mozzarella salad is very good. we eat here at least 4-6 times a month.

Great for tree huggers and those breathing thin air. For me, its a waste of time and money. Great place if your trying to impress someone thats taste compromised. Go downtown and find a place with a burger. Wheres the meat?

food here is always good, fresh and on the healthy side. despite a similar look at all of them in this chain, some, like the 77th street location feel very cramped and small. also, at weekend bruch time, expect to wait.
