Just witnessed a theft in here. A man who was standing right behind me walked right up to the register looked around couple of times while cashiers were busy. Took pre-packaged bread and got a cup of coffee, found a table for himself and started eating without paying. When it was my turn to order I told the lady who happened to be the store manager of what I had witnessed. Her response was bizzare. She said there is nothing she can do about it. If she confronts him and makes a scene this store will get a bad mark from the corporate office and there is no policy about this...???? WHAT??? I was here with my 2 kids who saw the whole thing and was very disturbed.The manager said she will see what she can do...but obviously she glanced at him about 2 times...didnt talk to him ...didnt do anything about it. Couple of minutes later, finishing his meal, he walked out as if nothing happened. Never coming back here. Just disgusted about this.

Employees are just barely doing their jobs. Everytime I go, they mess up my order and dont mention the supposed free treat you get as compensation for their error. Every single time that I ask for a caffe mocha I specifically have to ask for it to be in a mug with whip cream and syrup or else I get a bland cup of mocha in a cardboard cup. Just now, even after specifically instructing them to put whip cream, a server came out with two cardboard cups for my girlfriend and I. He seemed confused after I asked for it in a mug but he went back to do so... Or so I thought. He comes back with two mugs and of course no whip cream -.- god damnit I just want a good cup of coffee.

The cashier (named Jose on cash receipt) was really unfriendly, no smile or respect for the customer at all. Didnt explain properly about the Pick 2 order. Instead of Pick 2 gave us complete panini... Had to order another panini but the other cashier (named Luis) was no different.. I really hated the both the servers. Server at pick up , had frown on face when asked for water cup though 1 Medium water was mentioned in the cash receipt. Chose this place over so many other food option in same complex, but i really hated edgewater panera bread..will never ever go there again. neither will advice my friends for this place..

The espresso isnt as good as it once was. Over the last year the iced skim caramel latte I once loved is lacking in flavor, coffee flavor. It has a bad after taste now. The food is just OK. I think for $20 two people could have a more fulfilling breakfast at a good diner. Yeah, the ocassional cinnamon crunch bagel is really good, but what good is it if your latte is horrible. Not sold on the new set up either. Coffee bar is unaccessable, so if you do need an adjustment, youll have to track down the server. Panera used to be my favorite, not anymore. Whatever, its just OK, but the coffee is a deal breaker for me.

Been awhile since I was here.. but I was sitting in another better panera and remembered this disaster of a place. The customer service was awful. The rewards system was down and I complained I had an expiring free drink from my rewards card. The manager looked me straight in the face and said "What do you want me to do about it. Im not giving you a free drink," then turned to the cashier who tried to help me to the best of her ability and gave her a stare down. And you can imagine his tone wasnt the most pleasant tone. I vowed never to go back there again.

Me my daughter needed a quick bite to get out of the rain and they were awesome. We share the" two" deal ordering cheddar soup and flat bread chicken, Mediterranean but there was a misunderstanding and my daughter got a veggie Mediterranean. A gentleman walked up and fixed our order very quickly for us- very awesome. We definitely will back, FYI the food is very good especially the gluten free chocolate chip cookie

I know Panera Bread is a chain restaurant, but you cant go wrong with this one! Only issue I have encountered here is that there are times when it is PACKED, and you have to wait for seating. If you go to Panera Bread a lot, make sure you sign up for their rewards card because you end up receiving free items! (You gotta love freeeeee!)

They dont always have the blueberry scone available, but when it is it is delicious. Cant go wrong with the seasonal poppy seed salad, it has fresh fruit and is so good. I enjoy their soups and sandwiches equally. Coconut macaroons were dry but maybe because I bought them towards the end of the day.

I enjoy Panera. I come here for my Greek salad and I study here. Management and staff are always friendly and its very easy to order your food whether its through the tablets they have or through the cashiers and they bring you the food to your table.

Customer service is horrendous. Managers suck at their job. Pick-up orders are consistently made wrong. Triple check your order before you leave the store or you will be going back since they cant refund over the phone. Save yourself the hassle

Ive been coming here for years and they have consistently served fresh, delicious soups and sandwiches. From my experience with panera, this is the best location Ive been to--clean, comfortable and cozy atmosphere with great staff. :)

Located in a shopping district. Food is delicious although more variety would be better. With coffee and cold drinks, refills are allowed. Seats with access to wall outlets are limited, but seats themselves are confortable.

This panera is a little better than others. The place is always full which means food isnt laying around for hours waiting to be bought, the staff is great, the place looks clean. I would visit this panera again.

Being on the heart of Hudson Shore , panera offers fresh food with decent price. Always have wonderful staff and spacious atmosphere with free WIfi. Living in Edgewater , this place is like my second kitchen.

A very busy Panera in the Promenade Edgewater, NJ. Nice outdoor seatings. You can order from the table using the mobile order to skip the line is nice. Its a very friendly and well managed store.
