I ordered the chicken pho - it arrived an hour and a half late and cold. And when I say cold I dont mean warm or lukewarm. Actually cold. I was basically told to just deal with it as thats how it comes, which is funny as this was advertised as hot soup. I was told Im supposed to heat it up myself which I cant do as my stove is under repair and why would I order delivery if I wanted to cook for myself? The delivery guy argued with me on this trying to make me take this cold food. I took the order momentarily to call the restaurant where they argued with me for another half hour and refusing to refund my money. When they finally agreed to refund my order they insisted they come pick up the food I waited another half hour for this all the while starving. When the delivery guy finally arrived he told me they would not refund me. Instead they sent some hot broth which they could have done from the beginning or at least communicated that was the plan. The rest of my food got lukewarm while waiting to be returned. My iced tea was warm and melted at this point also. There was maybe 2 and a half small pieces of chicken in this order to begin with. Terrible business. Terrible food. Will not order from here again.

Color me shocked: this is just some unheralded neighborhood joint, yet its serving up some of my favorite food in the neighborhood. We tried the classic pho, the veggie pho, and the grilled chicken sandwich. The classic pho was dubbed "brilliant": its got a thin piece of RAW beef laid across the top that actually cooks in the hot broth, which is very cool. I thought the veggie pho was really good, and with the addition of hot sauce and hoisin sauce (both included in nice servings) it can be pretty great. (Warning: Im pretty sure the "veggie pho" comes with a meaty broth, so avoid it if youre a strict veggie.) What really knocked me out, though, was the chicken sandwich. Its like a banh mi, with carrots and cilantro. The bread was beautifully crunchy, and the grilled chicken was delicious. At least 9" long, and just $5. Unpretentious, delicious, reasonably priced. It makes me want to stop by a certain Waffle place on Graham and spit on the glass.

Apparently Dori doesnt realize that all pho places worth their salt deliver their pho cold. This is because the meat is put in the cold broth raw and cooks while the broth is heating up. Due to the manner of cooking the meat, it tastes best if you cook the meat / heat the broth immediately before eating it and not 20-25 minutes prior. I can guarantee you that if Mama Pho delivered their pho hot, they would have way more negative reviews from people who actually know Pho. Maybe next time you should trust the people who hail from a society that has a millennia of experience cooking their own food instead of getting online and writing an ignorant review bashing them for trying to serve you the food in the best possible way they can, in the convenience of your own home. Cultural incompetence is an awful look people. Also, this place is great.

Go to PHO spot! (Used to be the go to spot) Staff is no longer vigilant when it comes to cleanliness, tables are left dirty after patrons leave. Beverages no longer make it to the table before your food. It seems like ownership changed and FOH employees are extremely inexperienced at running a restaurant. The front door is extremely slow to close letting in just of cold air every 5 minutes, this place does not pump out enough heat for this to be happening. I really dont understand how this place lost all attention to detail. Maybe its do to the fact that they are now offering delivery, there is now a lack of in house service.

Ive eaten pho all my life, and this was the most disappointing pho Ive had in a long time. The pho broth looked tasty and authentic, but actually tasted extremely bland and had no flavor. What a huge let down. One star for the meatballs (bò viên) in my pho, which were quite good, and one star for the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was also pretty good. Also, it was almost 100°F outside and there was barely any relief from the heat inside the restaurant. No AC, and only a weak breeze from a fan near the front door.

I will admit the one thing theyve nailed are the prices. Unfortunately with the low prices the food seems to lack flavor at the phos core. The broth I had wasnt as rich as I was hoping for nor were their any great they let me add on top. Jalapeños, basil and some limes had me asking for more. Some chives, cabbage even? It would have been a nice touch. Still again for the price and the portions you get, its still really great. But if youre looking for a full flavor meal Id say you might want to look elsewhere.

What happened to this place? Maybe new owner? I ordered their famous Bun Bo Hue and it wasnt like I remembered it a year ago. It came in a plastic bowl and came with only a few thin slices of beef and chicken. Usually Bun Bo Hue should come with thick chunks of tender beef. Wasnt so this time around. The saving grace was the broth was still spicy and flavorful.

Ribeye pho was good. Banh Mi was excellent (the "Catfish" was a letdown because it had almost no actual catfish--stick with the "Classic"). Smaller portions than other Brooklyn joints in BK Chinatown, Bensonhurst, etc. but better ingredients. No "big bowl" if, like me, you eat your pho in mass quantities.

The pho was decent enough and there arent too many pho restaurants in the neighborhood so worth stopping by if you get a craving. The soup was a little watered down and clear but still flavorful. Ribeye that topped the noodles and soup came out rare and cooked perfectly as you ate.

The service was horrible! The three of us had soups there. The beef in the soup was not fresh ad half of it was just a fat. The chicken in my friends soup was old also. Soon, after leaving the place, the three of us had horrible stomachache which lasted all day. Never coming back!

Ive been there twice, the chicken bahn mi was just right, spot on. The classic bahn mi was less impressive, the ham wasnt trimmed well and I was biting bits of hard fat, and the texture of the pate was a little off. Stick to the grilled chicken bahn mi and you will be quite happy.

Never order from this place. The pho showed up over an hour after it left the store, in the same bag as the iced coffee, so cold pho and melted ice!!! horrible, learn how to deliver or dont deliver at all. The meat wasnt even precooked like I had asked. Never again.

I had a beef noodle soup with extra chicken topping and a cat fish spring roll. The soup was clean and flavorful. The fish in the roll was fried. It was crispy but pretty dry and I could not tell what kind of fish it was. Their sandwiches may be better.

This was my favorite Vietnamese spot for so long. Sadly it has gone downhill in 2017; including my favorite item (Tofu & Mushroom summer rolls and pho) suddenly disappearing from the menu. All good things must come to an end, I suppose.
