This place was just fine. While I appreciated the large and creative menu, I found our burger to be less exciting than I expected. My bigger problem was dealing with my moms frustrations. Wed been doing quite a bit of walking that day and arrive not just hungry, but thirsty. The waitress immediately brought a bottle of water to the table. Well, we finished that by the time we were only a bite or two into our meal. Then our waitress seemed to disappear. We eventually managed to get someone elses attention and asked her for more water. She was friendly and assured us shed bring one. Nope. We eventually saw our waitress, but couldnt manage to catch her attention. Again, more waiting. Another five minutes, no sign of our waitress. So we went up to the bar and asked. Our bar tender immediately took care of it. Im just not sure that only decent food and really lacking service are worth the prices they charge. Maybe another location is better?

So I dont understand what is the fuss about this burger place. I love organic food, but my team lunch the other day left a lot to be desired. So for almost 20 of my co workers decided that we would have out lunch ordered from here. We practically had every type of burger ordered from here with onion rings or fries. First of all I dont think BB understands the importance of corporate account. They completely screwed our orders , they did deliver the food minus any kind of sauce but it wasnt delivered they way it should have been.A person who ordered veggie burger had turkey burger, we had this problem for most of out orders. Coming to taste I had the veggie one, I did not like it at all. It was very dry , wasnt flavorful and the patty did not taste fresh. My onion rings were OK.Also a lot of my co workers also had the same complain about thier food. Very disappointed with my while BB experience!

Bareburger in Noho is a great experience. I went here while it was still warm out last season, and got to sit outside. LaGuardia is a nice wide street, and the seating area is extensive. The atmosphere aside, the food was also great. The types of burgers they offer are eclectic, and I have yet to hear of another place offering a similar selection. Amongst the options they offer there are things like Bison, Ostrich, and Elk. Additionally, they have a ton of toppings and sauces to go on your burger, just as eclectic as the types of burgers available- including agave nectar which on my bison burger, was actually delicious. Food was good, service was quick, and the seasonal beer selection was decent. Though I havent been in the winter, this place is perfect for a summer evening dining experience, and I would recommend it for that.

Bareburger is one of the best places I have eaten at in The Village. Everything from the beer to the onion rings and fries were delicious and the ostrich (!) burger I got was really incredible. It was classically dressed, but provided a flavor and texture that was different and more compelling than your every day run of the mill hamburger. The staff was very friendly and nice, and when my friend dropped her coat, the waitress chased her down to make sure she didnt forget it. Little stuff like this goes a long way, and I really appreciated the attentiveness of the staff and their ability to recommend good items on the menu. If you are in The Village, make sure you check this spot out.

I eat everything under the sun at least once and then decide if it was worth it.I feel at home at BB.I love their brunch and I been welcomed with open arms as if i was family. The Owner Diana and the staff always go out of their way to make people happy.I come here for the food and service but that little extra makes me want to come here even more.I tend to be a lone wolf,if i want to do something i dont like to wait for somebody elses convince or time.I just do it.I like to grab a 34 ounce beer or 2, 20 ounces whith my meal.Just talk to them and they will direct you to the right item.I wont name what i usually eat since my taste might not be the same as yours.Cheers

Update in May 17 - service is terrible and it is still too expensive for lunch or happy hour. The wife and I were both craving burgers, we live in the building attached to this place (literally the closest restaurant to our apartment), and she chose this place to my displeasure. She ordered a burger with onion rings, I added a chicken breast to her order, some fries, and a small beer - $60. As much as I wanted a burger I refuse to pay $14 for a small (and in my opinion below average) burger. My craving continues. No happy hour and beer selection sucks. I will only return because the wife wins the negotiation and I can hit this place with a football from my door.

I feel silly calling the food here good because if you were to line this review up with some random review of another burger joint and see two reviews of good food, you wouldnt have much qualitative information to help you figure out what the deal with either place really was. What Im trying to say is that I had a really wonderful experience at this place, and mostly because you get an appropriate portion of excellent meat without any funny business to get in the way. I dont want a burger (or meat) that often, but the next time I do Ill go here. Oh, and I wound up with a bison one. Next time I think it has to be a cow. Baseline stuff you know?

Solid food and nice drink selection. I had the Impossible Burger with fries. The burger was great (tasted like a regular burger) though next time Ill customize it. The standard offering had too many pickles for my taste and I think that also caused some issues with the patty coming apart a bit on the edges. I got the smores dessert because its hard to pass on smores, but it was mostly ice cream and too big for one person, so next time Ill pass. The service was really friendly. I thought it was slow (waiting for my server to return) until I realized its one of those places where you just flag anyone down as needed. Ill be back.

I visit NY frequently and Im always looking for a good place to eat. My super close friend is Vegan (I am not) so it can be pretty tricky to find a place that satisfies us both. We came across Bareburger and it was absolutely amazing! My friend had the black bean veggie burger and I had a basic cheeseburger-- both came with TONS of fresh sweet potato fries! The service was OK in my opinion ( a bit slower than I am used too.) However the ambiance was laid back and rustic chic, something we both enjoyed after 4 hrs. on the road. I would definitely visit again. Its a perfect place for both vegan-friends and non-vegans!

I love getting burgers that are weird, unique and grass-fed. I ordered an elk burger and was excited to try it out. Upon receiving the burger it looked like a burger from heaven... My mouth was watering. Sinking my teeth into it, I didnt notice any flavor, and I was heartbroken. All the anticipation leading up to a delicious grass-fed burger had vanished almost immediately. For $16 BEFORE tip, I received a burger with a side of fries. The price is fairly aggressive for what it was. If it was a few dollars cheaper I would maybe have given it a higher rating even though it would lack the flavor.
