I found out about My House Burgers through Yelp and all of the great reviews. Since its located close enough to where I live, it was just another reason for me to finally pay it a visit, especially since I was craving burgers (as I often am). Two friends and I came in on a rainy Tuesday night at around 6:30. The place is super small as in they have two four-person tables, and these two couches facing each other, that looked like they belonged more in Central Perk than a burger joint. I think this place is meant more for take out than dine in. But if you do decide to dine in, what you do is grab a table (if theres one available), order at the counter (check in on Yelp for 10% off), and then theyll bring you your food (comes out pretty quickly). I ordered the Picante Burger (1/2 lb beef patty, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, jalapeños & house spicy salsa on the side). The patty itself was pretty good albeit greasy but I guess that may be why it was that good! Make sure you tell them how you want your burger cooked while ordering because they wont ask you otherwise. There was a little too much onions and pickled jalapeños on there but not really a deal breaker. The salsa tasted like canned supermarket salsa. Overall, I liked the burger. But the fries....the fries were really what knocked this review down from 4 stars to 3. Fries are very important when accompanying a burger. It should complement the burger. Make the burger look good. It should upgrade the burger. They should be working in perfect harmony. That was not the case at all here. Sometimes, if fries are not good at a certain place, I might give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again a second time. But not here. We tried fries 3 separate styles and all were less than mediocre. The garlic fries were just fries with a boat load of garlic powder sprinkled over it. No real garlic to be found anywhere. The fire fries were overly seasoned to the point that they were so spicy that it actually tasted bitter. The types of spices they used did not work well with each other at all. The cheese fries just just a big blob of cheese in the center that tasted like it came from a can. As disgusting as that sounds, that one was probably the best out of the three. If you prefer quantity over quality, then you should get these fries because they give you such a huge amount that it would be impossible for one human being to finish them. Normally, I wouldnt be complaining about too much food but in this case, it just wasnt very good. Long story short, if youre hankering for a big ole greasy burger, check this place out. But make sure you skip the fries.

Last night my husband and I wanted to order in but were very tired of the same old stuff. Afraid to order and spend the money on food we never tried was a risk. Im so glad we did! First off we asked for different cooks on the burgers and both came correct! We also asked for NO onion,tomato or lettuce and they got that correct! I can not tell you how many places we have ordered and there was onion on the burger and now my husband cant eat it. This establishment not only followed detailed instructions but the food was f#$king AMAZING!!!! Thank you MyHouse for not only meeting our expectations but EXCEEDING them!!!! The from the bun to shake, from the meat to the tasty onion rings and fries!!!! You have our vote and we will be coming back for more!!! Also awesome idea to put the menu in the bag, so we can see all the other goodies and learn about you guys!!! Thanks again!!!!

What can you say about burgers that has not been said before? My house burgers. Say that with some fire fries and your life will be made. I had the aztec burger (spicy beans, jalapeno and avacado!!). It is the ish above all other burgers that claim to be the ish. The fire fries with the chile habanero sauce and a little bit of garlic mayo will have you singing andrea bocelli (if you dont understand then get some education). Decor is different and funky. Its a bit cafe-ish with the large pictures of NYC and London and the leather seats and the little signs with all the hippie quotes (it works..trust me). Then the tables are like a backyard pinic. Its very chill. Service was awesome. Cant wait to go back and try out the rest of the stuff that will make my mouth happy and my soon to be ulcers super pissed at me.

No, Im not family, nor am I a friend. I was in the area with my family visiting Coney Island. On our way back to Queens we decided to search for a place where we could go to for a quick bite to eat however, since we are Muslim we decided not to go for Pakistani or Indian food that we are usually to. We wanted burgers. Halal of course and, these guys just hit the spot! The wife and sister in-law enjoyed Aztec burgers. I chose the Mushroom burger. And my extremely picky daughters enjoyed their chicken nuggets and fries. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. Parking was literally a 2 minute walk away in the nearby public lot. Overall its a nice spot for a quick bite to eat. And the kids will love it!

*Be cautious of the family and friends of the owner that bombarded with 5 star reviews. Messy, thrown together burgers, and poor quality frozen appetizers and fries that taste like theyre barely trying. Barely a passable burger, especially for the price. The kind of place youll try at most once. There are way better options in Sheepshead Bay with Wheelers and Roll N Roaster for a truly good burger. This is not it. Those pictures you see in the description? You wont get anything close to that.

Worst customer service!!!! I ordered a well done burger that was barely cooked, the bread was soggy and oil dropped from the burger like crazy, then they forgot the marinara sauce for my mozerella sticks that I ordered and when I called the lady she told me there is nothing that she can do Im 4 miles away and no one will come to give me the sauce. Then she HUNG UP on me!!!! So a mistake they made they cant fix, but it was okay for them to drive 4 miles to take my money!

Dont let the clean (but completely disjointed?) layout fool you: You are better off eating at McDonalds or Burger King and saving money (a lot of money). Fries were were soggy and awful, buns were obviously some cheap store brand and the meat was completely dry and worthless. My first clue shouldve been how quickly everything came out. Im guessing this is a Turkish-run place and the 5 stars are friends and family. Dont say I didnt warn you.

I thought this place was a restaurant but its not. The place is set up like a coffee shop but with burgers. The time I went, a bunch of teenagers were just hanging out there which can be disturbing. But being that the place is set up like a coffee shop, I can see people just hanging out there. I would go here for a quick bite but dont expect a restaurant experience. The burger were actually decent.
