Really friendly family that smiled at me as soon as I came in their restaurant. Super nice. The food is super fresh and not greasy at all for a Chinese take out which is a plus for me. Moving to NY from New Hampshire its quite hard to find good Chinese take out place as there are really good ones back home. I was so surprised about their crab rangoon because it tasted really good and 100% similar to the Chinese place back in New Hampshire, which is hard to find in NY and trust me it is hard to find since Ive been to plenty of them and have been disappointed. All in all, I am glad that I came upon this place and had saved their take out menu Ive had since moving here 2 years ago and finally giving them a try. Im glad to be a new customer and would gladly come back again since its right around the corner from my place. Definite give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.

UPDATE: I ordered Gen. Tsos Tofu (Im a vegetarian), I received GTs Chicken. I called to let them know they made a mistake and the woman on the phone argued that I said chicken. I wouldnt say chicken because IM A VEGETARIAN!!!! Also, the menu that came with my order had GTs Tofu checked off! After going back and forth with her, she said she would replace it BUT SHE WANTED THE GTs CHICKEN BACK. WHAT?!?!?! Will they give this to someone else? UGH! How do they know I didnt eat from it? Anyway, why are you arguing with me? This is the 2nd time this happened to me with this. You just lost a long time customer! I waited an hour and a half for my order to come. When I called back to ask where my order was, she said, "we forgot to make it". REALLY!?!?!?!

most chinese restaraunts in mount vernon near the gramatan ave area / lincoln ave area are nasty , greasy , and terrible but this new place DING WEN on east prospect is the best so far , there food actually taste great , they have the best fried rice and the best general tsos shrimp - there g.tsos shrimp is NOT a big ball of batter with fake shrimp or crabmeat inside it is a real shrimp slighty fried and then they pour there unique sauce over it -- it is superb... high ratings to this place and spring asain also

We ordered for years, they are now no 1 chinese. We ordered lo mein chicken without vegetables and received it with vegetables. Called back and they screamed at us saying that we did not order without vegetables. Very surprised considering we order from them quite often and I tip very well for delivery.

I live close by but hadnt tried this place until recently, it was surprisingly good. I called in an order and it was ready in 10 minutes. Everything tasted fresh and the prices are low as well.
