Being in NY for the holidays I was looking to try something I hadnt yet so I Yelped and found this place. I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. I was looking to try this due to not been tried Portuguese food until that moment. The place is unassuming and is visited mostly fit for the locals and the name can be disguising "Barbecue". I had a really gratifying surprise with my decision. The place didnt disappointe at all. Everything in the place was awesome! From the chorizo and the clams to the sopa galega to the Mariscada and Paella Valenciana everything was on point. Now I am sold on Portuguese food like I am with the Spanish food (similar, but not the same).

Awesome! The short ribs and sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection! So much flavor in the ribs, and not covered up with sauce and seasoning. The fries were crisp and soft inside. Simple and absolutely delicious!

Just loved this Brazilian and Portuguese hangout. The bar is disproportionately BIG! ! ! the menu selection will surprise and delight You! Everything was spectacular including the great service.
