April 4, 2016 I recently catered a party for my son from Mandarin Kosher Restaurant in Monsey. I did not have a good experience. First, it was very difficult dealing with the manager, as he was not always in the restaurant. I was kept on hold for over ten minutes waiting to speak with him when he was present and there were countless times when he did not return my call. I had a bad feeling about working with them and I should have trusted my instinct. Additionally, at the end the manager/party planner dropped the ball and had a waiter from the restaurant deal with the party. As a result, of the managers irresponsibility, there was not enough food at the party. I was assured that I would have enough food. While the food was good, it was embarrassing that there was not enough. Both the manager and waiter knew exactly the amount of people at the party and at the end of the day they did not deliver enough food. I would never use Mandarin again to cater a party.

Food I would give 8 stars if possible however the service and wait to get seated and to get food here is insane waited 45 minutes to get a soup and some Chinese dish and it wasnt that busy and then when the food finally came and when waited for the main steak there was no waiter to be found and the place is very understaffed imagine when it would be really busy how long the wait would be crazy this place needs big improvement on coordination with customers regarding wait times and btw my side dishes never came and got charged for it when I approached the waiter regarding this he gave me some attitude

If you want to enjoy TRUE kosher dining at its best, this spot is the hottest in Monsey! The food is incredible, place is super clean, staff is friendly. You MUST try out the steak, just a killer, totally lean and cooked just perfect. If you are looking for a fast food joint, this place aint for you, but if you are looking for quality dining experience, and good food, then this is the spot in Monsey.

In the mood for a romantic dinner with the tenderest prime meat or; if on a diet; buttery chicken in soup with rice n steamed vegetables.. look no further. This is the place for u.. prepare your purse though. A meal for one could easily rake up a bill of $100+. Costs aside, I had an awesome experience. Worth to try it.. did I mention they had decent service too?

The food was delucious! I ordered the trio mushroom beef dish; the meat was juicy and the mushrooms complemented the beef well. We had to remind our waitress to bring us our side dishes. It took us half an hour from when we received our main dish until we were able to get her attention. She did not come by to check on us, like other restaurants.

In the past 2 weeks i went the food was terrible cold and small and it was opened on a cold day with no heating system working, the food was just terrible but in general its not that bad i hate putting such a review but last week you pushed it to far Thank you and sorry for the bad review

We tried based on the good reviews but the food was awful. The steak was salty, and overpriced. The lomein was salty and flavorless and gross. The veggies that came with the moo shoo pancakes were not even edible. The tofu was hard and overcooked. Would not go back and do not recommend it.

Came w family for dinner. This place is unique. Truly enjoyed the service moreover the food. They make s really interesting orange duck you must try it. I refused dessert only to keep the duck taste in my mouth. This is going to be a new favorite for me next time I want a real treat.

Are here with the wife and kids. Everyone loved the food. We plan to come again. They have a wide variety of dishes, we all ordered something else, and shared. Everyone loved everything. No doubt a super cozy spot here in the city of Monsey. Highly recommended to others.

Stop by before the nine days and truly enjoyed the food provided Im very elegant plates in a very elegant restaurant. Waitress is very kind the food came hot and ready to eat just an overall joyous experience that I expect to see more often when I come visit again

Food is tasty...Id stay away from the fries you can definitely find better. However the soup, the steaks, the pargiyot almost everything else is DELICIOUS. Dont come in after 10 do come starving since they wont extend their hours but they do give large portions.

Was in Monsey on a business trip. Stopped by this place and I must say its SOLID! Not sure what ignorant ppl at leaving a less than perfect review cod. Clean spit, high end food. Just total awesomeness. This is my only spot on my next travels to Monsey.

Awesome food, excellent service!!! I really recommend this place. They sat us at a table with a couch instead of chairs, very comfy. Our waitress Kassidi was excellent! BTW its not just Chinese food, they have awesome steaks as well! Great menu!

Upscale meat dining! Bear in mind the kitchen closes much earlier than the restaurant, so order in advanced or plan accordingly
