We went here for lunch and were disappointed. The lunch specials were pricey, starting at $15 and up, and the food was just average. The California roll that came with the lunch box seemed pre-made and cold from being stored in the refrigerator. The fish didnt seem fresh. And everything cost extra (I upgraded my tuna roll to a crunchy spicy tuna roll, which was an additional 0.75 for the crunchy and 0.75 for the spicy. Worst of all, I was not told that in advanced). In summary, I would not recommend this restaurant.

While the place is a bit dated, the food is consistently delicious, well spiced, and wonderfully authentic. Too many guests go there in a rush, or act like its a marathon for who can be in, eat, and out the soonest. This place deserves patience. Its worth it. Compared to the other restaurants around Monsey, it is very well priced, and their portions are generous. The service is a little abrupt, but again, compared to others, I have no complaints.

The sushi was delicious, and the hot tea is some of the best Ive had at a Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet, and the service was fine. However, I thought the menu was pretty expensive, although I cant compare the prices to other local establishments.

Great Kosher restaurant! Not cheap! Sushi is thin and small but great tasting. their meat and chicken is great! where do you get to sit on the floor in a private room eating delicious food? Its some experience.

Other than feeling a bit rushed despite most tables being unoccupied it was an enjoyable meal. The house terriaki sauce may be a bit sweet for some tastes. The sushi was nicely prepared and tasted good.

Some people dont like this place but I love it. Service is super quick. The food is very good. It is pretty expensive and the place is a bit dated. But I like this place.

Nice setting, warm service. Menu unusual for a kosher restaurant in Monsey: Varied sushi and authentic japanese dishes. Prices MUCH higher; double the indicated price range.

Amazing food and a great variety. This is the most authentic and best restaurant in Rockland County for both sushi and steak. Everything made fresh and onsite.
