I have never had BAD sushi until dining at Yoshi. My fiance and dined in last night around 7:30pm and we both ordered the Sushi dinner (10 piece nigiri sushi and a tuna roll). First, we switched the tuna rolls with salmon and yellowtail. Unfortunately, they did not inform us it would cost $1 extra per order to switch until the bill came. Okay, that was excusable since we probably should have expected it. The entrees came with miso soup and a salad. The salad was fine but the miso soup tasted burnt, as if it had been sitting on a burner the whole day and gotten overcooked. "Okay," we thought, "Doesnt matter. We came here for the sushi, not the soup." When our entrees finally arrived, the nigiri sushi was warm, sour, and truly disgusting. All of the fish was "off" and tasted spoiled in our opinion. Although the nigiri sushi was horrendous, youre probably okay if you order their special rolls or a cooked dish. Based on our experience, I vehemently DO NOT RECOMMEND Yoshi if you are planning on ordering sushi without fried tempura, sauces, or vegetables to cover up the poor quality of the fish. We did not bother complaining to the staff during dinner because we just wanted to get out of the restaurant as quickly as possible. On the bright side, I am writing this review the next morning and we did not get food poisoning. Note: This review is based on this writers opinion and personal dining experience.

Good food!!been there a couple times, but tonight has been the WORST! the waiter (guy) treated us horribly throwing the utensils in the table, bringing the food in a bad mood just horrible . We where celebrating a family members birthday i bought a cake and I had told him to please bring it out at the end, well instead of bringing it out like a normal restaurant, all prepared and ready to sing , he just brought it to the table just how I handed it to him inside the bag and all SMH!! TO TOP IT OFF we left a tip that was suppose to be for him and the other NICE Lady that actually did treat us well , but We actually saw when He snatched the tip right from her hands!!! The disrespect of this place is insane I will never return!!!

True there is no parking. Go eat sushi in NYC and let me know how the parking is. I eat alot of sushi and this is pretty good stuff. Its not cheap but if I want cheap I go to Wegmans. I am a Woodbridge resident and I like having a quality sushi joint around the corner. Its better than Yu yee and its the same price. Very clean also. Im on my way there right now. peace out!

The sushi is the best in Middlesex County. If you dont believe me, try it. The fried rice is amazing and the money bags appetizer is absolutely out-of-this-world. I recommend any and all rolls as I have had most. I used to go to another place for sushi but now this is my only spot. BYOB!!! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Have been going here since they opened. Every time I walk in Im treated like family. They know who I am by name, they ask about how work is, etc etc. Food is always delicious and freshly made. I dont about the other reviewers with lower stars, but Ive never had a bad experience here.

Disappointed!!!! We have been a loyal customer for years but will be no longer. Picked up to go order tonight and was treated like they were doing us a favor. Got home and found we were missing a roll. Called to let them know and was basically called a liar. Their loss.

This place is top notch. We stopped by when waiting for a train. The service was very quick, and the food was excellent! Also, I forgot my card at the restaurant, and the waiter ran across the street to the train station to get it to me! Definitely recommend!

Yoshi is a cozy little place with great food an friendly service. I always enjoy going here when I crave some sushi. If theres a roll that you had somewhere else, but dont see it on the menu, they will make it for you if you can tell them whats in it.

The best sushi around. VERY FRESH FISH!! Even my 5 yr old loves their sashimi. We have been coming here for 7+ years and its still as great as the first time. Friendly, clean, accommodating and great food.
