Dont order the hibachi for takeout. First off they dont give you as much. Also dont eat the hibachi shrimp. They didnt clean my shrimp and they ALL had the shrimp poop in them still.. ewe! DOnt they know youre supposed to clean that stuff? The hibachi chicken is great when you dine in, and spicy tuna roll is good, so I recommend those. I ordered takeout once and the guy ran my credit card, then I asked the recep a question about my order and asked her to refund my cc because they overcharged me on the order... she ran my cc again... stupid receptionist... she didnt even ask me if I already paid.. just assumed... so she ran it twice then STILL never took care of the overcharge...

Tonight I went to Makoto for my daughters birthday. I ordered the Hibachi filet and my food had a hair in it. The manager came over to apologize, and told me he would take it off the bill. I didnt make a big deal about it because I didnt want to disrupt the rest of the restaurant. When I received my bill, only 50% of the price of my dinner was deducted (not the entire amount of my meal) I only had a few bites of my meal. We left without getting dessert because I was disgusted by how dirty and disgusting the place was. I wouldnt normally write a review like this but I feel as though I was ripped off and I am angry. The place is absolutely gross.

First let me start with saying the quality of meat was very good, and the fish was fresh. The staff was attentive and the food came quickly. The entire establishment was very clean and well maintained. Negatives: Bland fried rice and fried noodles, didnt have any vegetables or anything. All of the sauces tasted like the were from a giant tub, not house made or even doctored-up in house. They were a little heavy handed with the teriyaki sauce; Im certain if I asked for light sauce they would accommodate, but it was my first time here.

I usually buy sushi from here and have it delivered to work but tonight they decided to tel me they dont deliver when I said I order all the time the woman said oh we are busy tonight might I add.... they have been open for 20 mins...then she said she will ask if someone can deliver and then said no.. I will no longer be ordering from this place...shame the sushi is good...but the staff sucks and they choose if they have delivery or not...

My spouse and I with our children come almost every weekend we can. Service is good, especially the friendly owner and chef. We dont have any complaints about anything. Our food comes out delicious every time we head to the Hibachi and its a very warm environment. My spouse and I are big on eating and rating the best foods in town by the way. This is our favorite spot thus far.

Terrible. Hibachi was mediocre at best. The serving plate had a cockroach on it. The water was disgusting definitely do t drink it. They were told of the problem and didnt really care. Didnt discount the meal. Asked questions about it and covered it up so the rest of the people didnt see it. I have no idea how they stay in business.

Food and service going down hill FAST! Last 3 times the portions were small...loaded with black pepper and the chicken was BAD!! It was discolored and tough and you couldnt eat it. The "Filet" was not filet or if it was, it was bad and loaded with fat. NOT GOOD! Come on Tan - Get back on Track or you not going to make it...

Not a clean place. I was there with my family and there was roaches under The plates brought it up to the lady that was sitting us. She didnt say anything she went to the manager he try to sit us somewhere else with the same plates That had roaches underneath them. I will never eat there again.

Very happy w/ the food and service at the hibachi tables. Had New Years Eve there this year and wasnt disappointed. We have tried basically all of the hibachi menu and are always pleased, we even drop in just to buy their salad dressing....simply delicious.

Excellent food and service. Our service was outstanding from the waitress. Was there with the grandkids and they accommodated their requests for"plain" food. Sushi as well as hibachi was very good. Great place for a special occasion!

Service and wait was horrible. Manager was just nasty to staff and cold toward customers. Quality of food was very poor. The wait to be seated was supper long. The inside seriously needs a make over and remodeling. Never going back!

Makoto is a fun and exciting place for dinner. The Hibachi show and freshly made sushi make this the place to go if you are not afraid to live a little. You can bring your own drinks and have a blast for birthdays and such...
