I have literally been visiting this deli for .. Im not even sure .. 15 years now. (I work about a mile away. I started at this job in 2000. I think I started visiting Ruland Road Deli shortly after I started.) This is not a sit down (dine-in) type deli. Its a good old fashioned deli with Boars Head cold cuts, homemade hot lunches, and outstanding potato salad, macaroni salad, and coleslaw. (Honestly, their coleslaw may be the BEST Ive ever had!) Ive tried everything from a simple ham & cheese sandwich, to the various hot lunches (lasagna, roast turkey, baked ham, macaroni and cheese, kielbasa with sauerkraut). They open early and close early (around 3pm). They server breakfast and lunch (no dinner). As I mentioned, their coleslaw is some of the best Ive ever had! In addition, I think one of their egg sandwiches (egg whites with turkey and alpine lace on a roll) is one of the very best egg sandwiches Ive ever had. I dont know who is in the kitchen making the eggs in the morning, but whoever it is .. they know how to cook eggs perfectly! They have an assortment of fresh muffins in the morning (corn , blueberry, chocolate chip, bran muffins, etc). All fresh and delicious. The staff is top-notch. VERY friendly. The location is fantastic when you work where I work .. but it could be a little hard to find if youre coming from Rt. 110. Prices are reasonable. (lower than some of the "gourmet" delis in the area) Its a great stop for breakfast or lunch!

My mother and I were in the area and decided to stop at this deli. I was astounded by the customer service. Everyone was very pleasant and the food was very good. A regular customer suggested the chili and we really enjoyed it. Its hard to find such great service these days but this deli definitely gives you the service you expect to get when you walk into an establishment to spend your money. When Im in the area again I will definitely be stopping there again.

Pretty good deli, staff is really nice, only thing I find strange is Ive gone in numerous times and got the same thing but have gotten charged different prices, $8.40 one day and the next day getting literally the same thing is $10
