Amazing... Ive got to admit that I am particular, even more so about "treats" brought home to me from someone else (I.e., second hand treats) which was the case with these cookies. Wow, I was wrong, these are amongst the best that I can recall having. The backdrop is that my girlfriend works with the daughter of the family that owns the company, so she passed some along to my girlfriend in NY while she was on business. When she came home she encouraged me to have some of what I call, second hand treats. I was reluctant until today when my sweet tooth kicked in. Thank goodness for sweet teeth, I darn near devoured the entire box. The cookies were moist, tasty, not too sweet and oh so fresh. Each and everyone of the cookies that I sampled was better than the next. So much so, that I find myself perched here now, writing this review to highlight this business. Please, trust me, I was amazed, and believe that you will be too. Wow, what an experience, indulge yourself.

This bakery has been around from the time we moved here from Brooklyn in 74 n the donuts are as crunchy as they were when we first got them the brownies theres always a fight in the house on who is goin to get one so now I buy 3 lol but everything is great the cakes n the breath are unbelievable. N dont forg ed t the onion roll with butter n a cup of coffee to dunk in now thats what Im talking zbout

I have been dying for a Modern Bakery boston cream donut (the best you ever tasted!), or an iced crumb bun, or a chocolate layer cake or a cocount layer cake every since I moved away to Miami. This is the best bakery in the world---their cookies are amazing, and ALL home-made. The best bread and rolls Ive ever tasted too. Im coming home for Christmas, and Modern Bakery is my first stop!

We were in town for our sons lacrosse tournament and found this bakery through trip advisor. I wish we would have found it the first day! Everything we had was fresh and AMAZING. The service was wonderful and the little village of Lindhurst is a charming backdrop. I highly recommend the cheese bear claw and the brownies. Yum! You will not be disappointed.

Simply the best! I am sooo picky with baked goods, this bakerys products are amazing. They remind me of the bakery that was local to my nan when I was a kid in Australia, however, Cieslaks even surpasses the one of my childhood. The raisin bread and pastries really are heaven to the tastebuds!

I grew up in Lindenhurst and have since moved several times. This is the bakery that I hold all other bakeries accountable to. The butter cookies are my favorite but theres no way you can go wrong. Everything is delicious. I get a pound of cookies every time I go back.

This bakery is AWESOME! I remember as a child goin to this bakery every Sunday preparing for family day. I recently took a trip back and this was one of my first stops. Still as delicious as ever! Deffinetly gotta stop in there... You will not regret it I promise!

My mom grew up right around the corner from the Cieslakss bakery and every time we go back to visit we HAVE TO stop in! Their cookies are melt-in-your-mouth amazing and the pastries are TO DIE FOR! Nothing else compares to this bakery!

Everything is fresh baked in this bakery! The whipped cream has no additives and tastes delicious! There are three bakeries in Lindenhurst Village, this one is by far my favorite and also, the most reasonably priced!

Excellent baked goods, even real whipped cream! Not that yukky whipping mix. Real old fashioned baked goods. Tbe chocolate mouse cake is the best I ever had.
