I have been to this place couple of times. I visited it again because of how the food tasted but the service is pathetic, the owner is rude. Last we went there, we were a group of 10+ people who went there and one of us has an health issue, and he eats his own food. The owner simply said no to our request. He said that we had to order an entree for him irrespective he eats or not. Also this restaurant has an annoying policy of ordering an entree for everyone irrespective of how much you have consumed in starters. I would not recommend this place as the owner and all such owners need to realize that we pay money not just for the food, but for the service and any of such person who doesnt respect a customer doesnt have the right to be in the business.

I am a big Indian food fan and have been for many years. This restaurant is a winner. It was originally based in Pelham NY and then moved to New Rochelle; we really miss it in Pelham. We moved to Westchester from NYC; I think I can honestly say that we never had a better Indian meal in NYC (food capital of the world) than the meals we get at Rangoli -- it is that good. We go there often; it is the default casual meal choice for us -- even the kids will routinely choose it when we leave it up to them. A little pricey, perhaps, for Indian food, but totally worth it -- the food is delicious, and the service is friendly and courteous.

I dream of Tandoori Lamb Chops.... and Shrimp Rangoli! One of their signature dishes, and for good reason, soooo good. Be sure to order some bread to get every bit of this delectable sauce. The lamb chops are really special, slightly charred, succulent, so flavorful, honestly I have to have them every time. My family and I love this restaurant, The decor is beautiful, the service is excellent. This family run restaurant has such excellent food, every dish that comes out of the kitchen smells amazing..Sean, the owners son, will make you feel like one of the family. But its the amazing food that will haunt you in between visits!!!!

The kick being modern. Things are a little different, they try something new with traditional Indian food. Im used to Coromandel in New Rochelle which is very traditional Indian food. Here they try something new and it works. The staff is very friendly and more than willing to explain their take on Indian food. The selection is large but not as varied as other Indian places. But i will say Im preferring Corianders take on it. I will be returning to try at least everything once! I will agree with other reviewers in saying that their spicy is not very spicy at all. Kick it up a notch!

One of the best Indian resturants on Westchester. I dont get too many chances to stop by, perhaps twice a year but every time I do I leave satisfied. The lunch buffet features a choice of savory just spicy enough vegtables, dhals, rice, apitizers, chicken, meat dishes and desserts are offered. The service is friendly and attentive with the staff going out of the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. If you are new to Indian food this is a great place to start, if like me you have been a fan for many decades you wont be disappointed.

We go out to Indian Restaurants every now and then but never found a place we really like. After dining at Rangoli, well definitely go back here and have Indian food more often. We highly recomend this place to everyone. The food was amazing, especially the shrimp rangoli - unbelievable taste and flavor. The service was also welcoming, comforting, and warrming - this allowed us to enjoy not only our food but our stay as well. If you want really tasty Indian food and a comfortable stay, you have to eat at Rangolis.

This is my favorite Indian Restaurant ever. Ive gone to many in Manhattan but Rangoli has captured my taste buds. The food is great, it dosent give you extreme gas and the food is thoroughly cooked. My favorite dish is Chicken Tikka Masala and my favorite drink is Taj Mahal.. Mmmm.. I live in the bronx and If I were able to drive every single day to New Rochelle for lunch, I WOULD. You are definitely treated like family when you dine there.. Vegetable Samosas and Vegetable Soup are a plus.. No dissapointments...

We had a private party at this restaurant and it was great. From menu to decor to staff, everything was just perfect. Highly recommended if you are planning an event. The owners, Sam and Chris are great and the best thing I like about them is their attention to detail. They work with you to make your event a great success. Highly recommended to anybody planning a birthday party or any other personal / business event. The food was great as well.

When this place started was great . this time around I order same stuff I always have . And it was tasteless and watery (Chana masala ) called them back they were rude on the phone and told me to bring the food back so then can give me my money back . Not everything is about money. So went back to get it re done guess what it was the same thing watery and tasteless would no be ordering from them again .

The best Indian restaurant in westchester county I have been to , most authentic north indian dishes. If someone loves north indian cuisine , this is the closest to what you get back home , some of the dishes are even better. They have a seasonal menu which is very interesting and worth exploring. The hospitality is great . Overall a great place to dine. Cheers guys at Corriander ,continue the great taste.

Being of Indian descent, I tend to be very picky with Indian restaurants esp. in the US. But having eaten here, I can truely say that the food is AMAZING! Its got an authentic taste to it that is very hard to find. If you really want a taste of good indian food try Rangoli. Its absolutely worth it!! (for the Indians who know of Rasoi.. its better than Rasois food) ;-)

Ive been a fan of this restaurant since it was in New Rochelle under the name of Rangoli. Youll never meet nicer people in your life, and the food is incredible as well. I really have no complaints, the service is good, youre never without water, the kitchen is wonderful, and I cant stress enough how nice the people are. If youre in the area, I urge you to check it out.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Period. The food is always fresh, bursting with flavor, and served attractively. Its so much fun to see a family that enjoys working together. They are professional, friendly, and, of course, knowledgeable about the food. You wouldnt expect it, but the wine list has some incredible values.

I went to Coriander for lunch on a Tuesday and got one of the lunch specials. Overall, it was a very good deal and the food was excellent. I received a soup, a salad, and with my main course, Lamb Vindaloo, I received naan and rice. The lamb was not too mild and not too spicy.
