This place was... INCREDIBLE. I seek sushi where ever I travel and was so delighted to find Aki Sushi. This is an authentic sushi restaurant. The chef prepared the sushi and other dishes unmatched for all of the other high end sushi spots Ive visited thus far in New England and for that matter nationwide. The fish was so fresh, top quality, the presentation was beautiful, and each bite left me in anticipation of the next dish I would try. It just got better and better. Delicious!!!!! The owner, waiter and chef were all so friendly and attentive. A truly relaxing dinner. A special place. Will be back again, and again, and again. It is a bit hidden, and you might not know it was there unless you asked a local for an amazing restaurant in Lake Placid. Great sushi! Very nice owner. Highly recommended.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a truly exceptional restaurant. The tiny, simple but comfortable dining is a welcoming place to enjoy a wonderful meal.

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. The service (by the owner of the restaurant) and the food was decent at best until the end of the meal, when I became amazed that this place is still in business. Upon being asked to split the check 3 ways, the owner became irate and refused, throwing a calculator at us and telling us he was too busy to do that math (we were the only people in the restaurant). Completely bewildered by this of course, we split up the bill, paid, and left. If you are desperate for mediocre sushi and dont mind dealing with unfathomably horrible service, this is the place for you.

Place is small but very good. I was a little hesitant to go but Im glad I did. With it being a smaller place you get a lot of attention from the server. Food was fresh and came out fast. The only downside is everything is an up charge, $1 for a small cup of spicy mayo for example. I could see that if it was a take out order but not for a dine in. Aside from that everything was great.

I was very happy with my platter. The spicy mayo really made it for me! The restaurant is small but there is a bar and I did feel like I had privacy while dinning. Defiantly recommend this place if your in the area!

Ive been to a lot of sushi places and this place is WAY overpriced, small portions and poor food quality. Dont waist your money. At least the sever was nice and friendly.

Very, very long wait.We are talking ONE hour long. Sushi and Unagi don I ordered is nothing special. It was not worth the wait.
