Pretty much come here for the margaritas in patron bottles. Why wouldnt you want a drink in a patron bottle!? Or am I just an alcoholic? $18 for a giant margarita in a patron bottle, you cant really go wrong. You pay that for a watered down drink in the city. The food is pretty good too. They serve big portions, so you definitely will be needing a to go plate. Highly recommend the house flavored wings. They make your guacamole right is front of you old school style. Ive been here a handful of times & I havent been disappointed yet. My only gripe is that El Patron is small. You could knock over someones glass on the next table by just looking at it. Because its small, it can take a while to get a table when its busy. They have valet parking, but dont waste your time or money. Street parking isnt terribly hard to find. The valet is a mess! After 7pm they charge 18% gratuity no matter how big your party is. Its not the fanciest of places, but it gets the job done.

I took my family of 9 to try out sagar Chinese. I went pretty late around 10pm. After arriving we were told there are no seating arrangement left inside and we must dine outside. During the time the heat wave was passing so we decided to take it to go. We came home and tried the food. Lollipop chicken- the yellowish orange sauce that comes with the chicken saves the entire dish. It was quite bland. Hakka chow mein- average noodles :/ Sagar mixed fried rice - meh :( Thai soup- not to bad but there was some very weird shallot leaf which bothered me a lot. Overall it wasnt so bad. Portion was 2-3 ppl per dish.the costumer service seems to be lacking. The lady in the front seemed to be annoyed everytime costumes entered the building. Waiters were a bit better but some were a bit rude.

The food was really good. The spice level was just enough. They accomplished their title of Indian-Chinese fusion. The only problem I have with them is that for the for the non-lunch items ($7+ prices), you get SO LITTLE FOOD. My family was extremely disappointed with that. At a real Chinese restaurant you get a big rectangular box full of food, for the same price and most definitely feeds 2-3 people. Here at Sagar, they give you a tiny little bowl, and it isnt even full. It barely feeds 1 person. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF. We payed $20 and it could barely feed the 2 out of 4 people in my family. I recommend that they either increase the amount or decrease the price if they want more business. I will never go there again, if my family is going to get ripped off like this.

used to be 4 stars apps - everyone orders lollipop chicken (really?) is it the name? try masala fish finger soups - every desi knows chicken corn or hot and sour are made for the homesick - they do not disappoint - thai soups, puhleez!!! desi chinese only, thanks all their proteins come in 3 variations chilli, masala or manchurian wever tf that is - i suggest try fish, chicken and beef with each, additionally most can be had dry - dry especially their veggie offerings are good, cauliflower heavenly! one more thing, i am a muslim but a cold beer would go nicely with all this heat, hey sagar ill be the sinner not u, (remember drinking is haram not serving it) - did i say the food is spicy hot (no holds barred, thank god)

We went there on a Monday night. We ordered several dishes. The Chicken Chilli Onion tasted as if they had fried the chicken and left it sitting for hours and then decided to dump a bunch of chilli sauce on top of it. However, the shrimp and beef entrees were pretty good. The service was just terrible. We were seated and served our appetizers and were not even given any water. We had to hail down the staff just to get some napkins. At one point I had asked the waitress for a straw and she responded very rudely "give me a sec" and left. She never brought my straw, I had to go up to the front and get it myself. I normally expect Bengali restaurants to have shabby service, but this place had the worst service ever.

Every time I visit NY this is the place I like to grab my Asian Bangali Chinese , service is good and food taste awesome , it gets crowded and sometimes you may have to wait a bit in order to get your table , wish they had a bigger place .. Only thing we noticed there "high chairs" for kids are all broken - belt doesnt work .. We noticed it last year and this visit too . 4 stars for broken high chair ... Ps: like other users are saying Yes front desk people ( mostly one particular female ) are not so friendly ... Management need to find someone more welcoming , she appears sick and tired of this place .. AC was working for me the day I went which was yesterday .

One of the best places to have halal Chinese food! One of the best and popular item on the menu is the chicken lollipop. The chicken corn soup is really delicious as well. The chow mein, and chicken chill onion are really good as well. The mango lassie and piña colada are tasty as well. The decorating is nice. I like the pink wall thing in the back. Service is really good. The waiters are fast with the order and etc. The outside seating area is good as well. The lunch special deals are amazing on which are on weekdays before 4 I believe. The location is nice to shop and go eat. Do I recommend this restaurant? Yes I do.

The food was all overly salty. The service was so-so. They charged us for an extra drink we didnt order and when we pointed it out, they stared at us like we were thieves. They didnt even give us the bowl of rice that came with our dishes until we asked for it. They tried to give us our bill in the middle of the meal and also forgot the dessert we ordered. They did this even though we came in when the place was NOT crowded or busy. The only good things: I recommend the lollipop chicken, it was good. And the mango and sagar lassie tasted great too. The rest of the food were only very mediocre.

My complaint is mostly about the service that I receive every single time and particularly from the same woman who is by the register. I cannot understand what her issue is but she definitely ruined this place for me. At first when I used to order from here I thought maybe she was having a bad day but no...it was not an isolated issue. Seems like being obnoxious is a part of her character. Word of advice to the owner, please hire better staff. Besides that, the food definitely used to to be better. Now I only get the chicken lollipops.
