What a treat this was. Ive only been in Ithaca Coffee Company a few times, usually to buy beer while I was stopping at the wine and liquor store next door, and I was surprised to see that they served food. This mainly seems like the kind of place youd stop in to pick up a few specialty items for home or some gifts for your family. It turns out they have a small cafe. I tried their sandwich and drink specials. The sandwich was called the Godfather and was ham and salami with olive oil and sundried tomatoes. The drink was the Ravi Shankar which was, to boil it down, a latte with curry powder in it. The sandwich was very good with crispy bread and a great flavor and a good portion. The drink was more "interesting" but I knew what I was getting into. It tasted like Indian food. However they have the standard range of cafe hot beverages if youre not as adventurous. I was really impressed with my meal, and surprised since I was the only person to come in for a sandwich during the lunch hour. People came and went for coffee but I was the only one having a sandwich. This might be one of those well kept secret sort of places. The staff was incredibly friendly too. I chatted with them a little bit while I was there and they talked to me about my meal since it was the special and nobody else had tried it yet. I will definitely be returning.

Great place for beer, several rotating taps with selections from a large area. Large stock of beer in coolers and racks. Additionally, they offer wine pours and a limited but good food selection (cheese plate, pretzel, sandwiches, etc). The front area is a coffee shop and food store where you choose from a large selection of meats and cheeses as well as items like chocolates, crackers, and coffee beans, to name just a few.

The main room has good espresso drinks, cheese, and chocolate. The tavern in the back is awesome. 12 taps and once a beer is kicked they switch it out to a new one. Every week you show up they have a new set of beers to choose from. You can buy the beer by the glass, or you can buy it by the 4oz sample which I like. They also have wine by the glass. It is kind of like a little slice of heaven.

Food and beverages are great. Friendliness could improve. I was there this morning (4.8.16) 7:30 am and a blonde female waited on me was not friendly, did not smile, gave me the impression that I was a bother about my order. Its not a good way to start up a customers morning. Brunette barista was fabulous and friendly. I wish I knew their names. I did not take notice.

I used to go here daily and was always pleased with the great coffee! Ive had fresh brew, cafe lattes, steamed milk with honey, cafe mocha and the Kyoto iced coffee. The ice coffee feels like crack, it will have you wired for hours. The staff is great as well. Get a coffee card started and start earning free drinks!

I bought a bag of whole bean Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and it was the worst Yirgacheffe I have ever tried. Either the coffee was stored for too long before or the processing method couldnt make the flavor come out or the beans were just bad. Do not buy their Yirgacheffe because you always have a better choice elsewhere.

I always like stopping in here for a coffee. dont get up in this part of town too often but its consistently a pleasant stop. the coffee is good, good fancy food to purchase( cheese and expensive snacks) and the beer bar in the back is really nice, but I am hardly ever up there at the end of the day for that.

An excellent mix of items for the foodie in you or just a nice place to grab a cappuccino or latte on a lazy Saturday morning. The scones are good but a little pricey. A nice selection of coffee beans, and a fantastic assortment of chocolate. Worth stopping by.

Kyoto style cold brew coffee? I think they need to check their ratio/recipe. And cold brewed coffee doesnt mean the person wants ice. My wifes mocha drink was absolutely delicious but I have had instant coffee with better flavor than the cold brew.

The best of both worlds, coffee and beer. Work and have a coffee during the day and then have a artisanal microbrewery beer at the tabern... The coffee is excellent and much more affordable than gimmes on a daily basis. Also, the staff is really nice.
