My sister went in your establishment last night with her boyfriends family and called me after her experience. She seemed very upset about her waitress grabbing the menu out of her boyfriends lap and no this isnt about jealousy. I would like to know why your servers are taking menus out of coustomers laps. Im a server myself and from what I know that is not allowed. That is completely not ok. Also, she never stated her name. Maybe your servers need some new training. If a menu is not on the table YOU DONT TAKE IT! Honestly, thats common sense.

Good food,decent price, good service until I was served tea by mistake instead of coffee, and Im allergic to Tea. This was the 3rd visit to this restaurant and never had a problem until the issue with the tea. Perhaps they shouldnt use the decaf coffee pot for tea, unstead use a totally different pot...thats potentially a mistake that could be deadly to a customer. I thought it was poor taste to charge for the coffee since I had to take benedryl and go home immediately.

Nice breakfast. The grits were a sizable portion. The rye toast was good. We seated 6 and the meals were served piping hot in a timely manner. I looked over the table and everyones order looked very good. Im going back for breakfast again! The music at a very comfortable level, unlike many eatery s which blast the music making conversation impossible. The staff were all nicely groomed and polite.

We were pleasantly surprised to discover this quality family restaurant in Gloucester,VA. We want to say to the owners, "we are glad you are here"! Gloucester has been lacking in the of number restaurants for too long. Wild Horse Country Cafe has a good menu, friendly service, and affordable prices. The home-made cornbread and the home-made chicken rice soup were both superb! Hats off to ya all!

Portions are huge! Fried pickles were awesome! Too many choices on the 3 menus that they seet you with.. needs a sign in front when u walk in to tell you whether to wait to be seated or not. You feel like you dont know what to do when you walk in. Other than this food was good and hot! I will go back!
