Disappointing. We like the kitchenette in NYC and were looking forward to trying this one. The service was slooooooow, but pleasant. My veggie burger was not so much a burger as a mush. It kept squishing out the side of the bun. The tuna salad sandwich was not flavorful with way too much bread and not enough tuna. They probably felt good about making their own onion rings but the reality was, it was 5 giant, wide rings in batter so thick that it fell off when you tried to eat them. I ordered cheese on my burger which didnt happen. When the bill came, I found I had been charged for the cheese but everything had been so slow up to that point that we just decided to pay it and go. The space is very pleasant and open with some kitschy decoration. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon, so maybe they do better when they are not so busy. But we were not impressed.

My husband had fish and chips, and I had the fried chicken and mac n cheese. The prices for these dishes were outrageous considering the portion size. He got two tiny fish fillets and I only got three small pieces of fried chicken. The presentation of the mac and cheese was seriously lacking and I almost did not eat it. It was warm not hot, but it did have some good flavor to it. The coconut cream pie was mostly whipped cream, and the crust was very wet and soggy. For such high prices $16.00 fish and chips, and $17.00 for fried chicken, $9.00 for a small pie, and around $10.00 for drinks. If I was going to spend that I would and will go somewhere else where you at least get a good portion size.

Made a reservation using Open Table for lunch. Nice little place with a varied menu. It serves liquor, but not really a bar. A mix between diner and restaurant, but it works. I ordered the tasty chicken and waffles and a friend had the wilted kale and brussels sprout salad. Food was good and service friendly.

Ive never had a bad experience here. Food and service is consistently good. Atmosphere is relaxed and cosy. Can be a little cold in the winter. Outdoor seating in warmer weather. Generous cocktails. No changing station for babies.

Really excellent food and service. Lots of places claim home cooking - this really is. Turkey meat loaf with mashed potatoes was truly delicious and a real comfort food. We will be back.

breakfast and brunch - terrific. Fresh and good. Lots of comfort foods that are in the "once-in-a-while" category, but the menu is diverse enough for all. Turkey burger is excellent.

Great comfort food joint. Very relaxed and happy atmosphere, lots of tables. We showed up with a crowd and they opened up the back room for us! Very accomodating!

Food is awesome but the service leaves much to be desired. So if you have no time constraints and dont mind being ignored by wait staff youre in for a great meal.
