Weve been here three times now and each time has been better than the last! This time we got the Cuban sandwich and the BBQ Philly. Both were fantastic. The choice of sauces is unmatched and the Apple Bourbon is particularly great. The wings were to die for. They are smoked, then fried and it creates a delicious, unique flavor. The service here continues to be flawless (which is incredible because its not really a sit-down service place) and as friendly as can be. Our server chatted us up some about the wings, then offered us a free sample of their in-development hot wing sauce, which was delicious and very hot but not overwhelming. Cant wait to taste the final product on a full batch of wings. It is dangerous that this place is so close to our home. Cant wait to get back there again and continue to have it as regular dining out staple.

The barbecue at Northern Smoke is excellent. There is a nice yet casual atmosphere for dining at the restaurant and pickup available if desired. BBQ sauces are excellent, staff is attentive, beer options plentiful (including a tap!) and overall a great atmosphere. I endeavor to come often as a local. Baby back ribs are supreme and can be hard to get on the weekends (generally available, but demand can outstrip supply at peak hours). Sides are great and the "small" portions in a sampler for two are generally enough to have plenty of leftovers. Theyre still working through their menu and I recently had the opportunity to try smoked pastrami, which I hope becomes a part of the regular menu!

We just moved to the area a few weeks ago and the first place we tried was Northen Smoke. Everything we had was delicious. We got the sampler. Highly recommend the baby back ribs! They were perfectly cooked. The sauces are great too and everyone was super nice inside. We ordered food to go another night which says a lot (we are the stay home and wait for delivery type) so for us to drive over there means it was worth it. We tried almost everything, the only problem is deciding what to get, but then they have the sampler so you dont need to decide. We had to have a discussion about how many times a month we can patronage due to our budget. Keep up the good work.

I go through this area often. Son had a hockey tournament at Brewster Ice Arena. Between games, I planned on having dinner here with two other families along with the three boys that were playing. I eat quite a bit of BBQ in places that BBQ is all they know and I have to tell you that this place is way up there. Everyone that we were with could not believe the food. This place is a gem. You need to eat here. If ordering at the counter and having the food brought to your table isnt your thing, try this place anyway. Staff were unbelievably friendly, way to go. And they have a nice outdoor area.... Thank you for a great dinner... Cant wait to come back.

I had been wanting to get to this place for a while. Im always on the hunt for good, authentic BBQ. I was floored by how good the food is. Baby back ribs were some of the best Ive ever had. Perfect. Smoked sausage had such flavor and snap. The sides were crazy good. Mac & cheese w/ bacon. Oooph. The staff were super friendly and very cool. My 9 year old son said "these were the best bites of food Ive ever had." Very reasonable prices, super clean, 4 styles of home made BBQ sauces and the Strawberry Lime Hot Sauce on the table were all out of this world.

Came here for the second time today with the wife and two visiting kids from out of town. I had the brisket ruben - wow amazing. Wife is a ribs connoisseur and was in heaven. Kids got the pulled pork and a quesadilla. Everything was superb. I have to say that this place has the most amazing baked beans Ive ever had - we ordered some to go after our meal. Staff is great too - very friendly and accommodating. Put this place on your "must eat at" list. Its great to have a top-notch BBQ place so close by. A real gem!

This place is awesome...I have driven by it one hundred times...never stopped in until the other night my wife said take me some where different...I wasnt disappointed. Northern Smoke had Great food, Great decor and Great atmosphere. We had a great time. If you like Cuban Sandwiches I suggest you try Northern Smokes Version! Ribs were superb as well...I havent had such good "Pit" barbecue since my days in the Everglades in South Florida. I will be back tomorrow night!

What can be said that hasnt been said already?! I always say Im going to try and get something different but the wings are one of my favorites and the baby back ribs tempt me every time. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. The meats, regardless of what you get will hit the spot and tempt you to get more for the ride home. The sauces are amazing and are good enough to eat by themselves. Better than anything else in Westchester, the five boroughs and anyplace else.

excellent find in carmel, in a non-commercial neighborhood. superb cornbread, and everything on the menu is terrific, except for the brisket , which is just ok, not great. the sauces are fun and flavorful, though the strawberry lime hot sauce could use a bit more heat. workers there are extremely friendly and well-versed in the different items. this will be a regular every time we are in the neighborhood!

Some of the best barbecue Ive ever had. All of the meats were tender and accented with crispy bits. The sides are great as well; fresh cornbread served maple butter is first rate. They also have a few taps of craft beer. Came here with the in-laws, we all shared the Pitmaster for ~$80, and it fed all four of us easily, with plenty of leftovers to take home. Well worth it.

Ive been visiting as many BBQ Hot spots in the Hudson Valley. Each have their own niche but this place I would say bring a date or friend and prepare to enter a relaxing setting paired with great BBQ and customer service. We tried the sampler for 2 and a variety of sauces. No complaints here. I especially liked the bacon and the side of of beans.

We ordered from there on a Saturday at 5pm. They said they were out of pork! So my sandwich had to be substituted for chicken. Both sandwiches came with the brisket and they asked if it was OK to put sliced brisket on, I said it was fine. When we started eating it the brisket was basically all fat. We wouldnt go back here again.

How has this not won a Best in the Hudson Valley award yet?! This place has amazing southern BBQ for decent prices. The best Ive tasted in the Hudson Valley. It even has a hipster Brooklyn eatery vibe to it. You could either take food to go, or stay and eat. Theres even a cool outdoor eating area.

Great meats, great sides, great sauces, friendly staff, great interior. Compared to the competition certainly worth 5 stars. Room for improvement: More spice in the BBQ itself, the sauces are great but its no March for spice built in to the meat. Could also be a slight bit more jucy.
