We stayed at the resort and it was a bit late so we decided to try the atrium. We travel a lot and I dont care much for hotel food. Until we met Michael S the executive chef at the atrium. His cuisine is not hotel quality. I have eaten at Michelin star restaurants and Michaels was perhaps better. What he has done there is truly an accomplishment. Much of the product quality was good and locally sourced but the training Michael has done with the staff made the execution of the dishes something special. The next morning was Sunday and they had a brunch buffet. I know Im not a buffet person either, the only one Ive ever found decent was at the view at the Marriott marquis. That is until this morning, what an amazing meal. I was there with my wife and 2 boys age 8 and 11 and there was something for everyone. It was a fraction of the price too. I have read some of the other reviews, Im not sure how long Michael has been there but in speaking to him it sounded like a bit of a relaunch. Even if you have been before, You must try the atrium, ask for Michael you wont be disappointed Lann Rubin II

Our experience was awful. We called to reserve for a party of 10 Christmas party. We spoke about the menu and desert and options we could choose from. When we arrived, we were seated and waited and waited. No one came around and before we knew it we were being told we were to get our food from the buffet. It was horrible. No food was left except for chunks of overdone chicken. Desert was a plate of store bought cookies! Not to mention, the house wine was terrible! Never again... Thats what you get when you go to a hotel restaurant!

Just celebrated my husbands 60th birthday-couldnt be happier with the food and the service was "the best". From the day I made the reservation with Diana (so sweet) to the night of the party, all of the waiters and waitresses were so attentive to all requests. My special thanks to Mr. Lenworth--he told me to be calm & he would handle my guests as VIPs-which he did. I would recommend having your occasion at Doral Arrowwood & cant wait to go back!

Food is okay. My biggest problem is the deceptive price charged for the Sunday Brunch. They state the price is $42, but add a 20% mandatory "administrative fee" which does NOT include the tip. Therefore, the price is more than $50. I guess they think that people would not be amenable to this price. Do they think people like to be deceived instead? I, for one, do not like to be dooped.

I am not a fan of buffets, because I was happy with the many options. The restaurant had a cook on site who would make any omelette that you would want.

Eh- why you would eat here (unless youre a captive audience without choice) is beyond me.
