Im not big on writing negative comments, but our experience at this place was very poor. Ill spare you the details about a broken AC, being ignored by a waiter, not offered water, etc. and just focus on food. After ordering a khachapuri (this dish was THE ONLY reason why we chose this place), it took them 15 minutes to come back and report that their cook cannot make it. I studied their menu again and made my second choice. Apparently, the second choice was not available either and I could only order one thing from that page. When my food has finally arrived, it was barely edible. The bread portion was acceptable, but the red beans inside the bread tasted stale. I love Georgian food, but I would NEVER come back to this place again. Its also unfortunate that it was my friends first intro to Georgian cuisine.

What is there to say about Toné Café!?? They have the best 3 leches and their prices are decent!! Their 3 leches berry is my absolute favorite !! Their pastries are so good but I hate waiting in line so I usually just get a whole cake ! Last time I went I got one of their tortas and it was so yummy! I also got a coffee (which I got the wrong one so I didnt really care for it) but I definitely would try a different one next time!!!

Would have given five stars for their food despite slow service. However, the biggest drawback was my party being charged 2 items that we had cancelled instantaneously upon ordering; were surprised to see those items on the check even the server had scratched the items off from the ordering pad. BE CAREFUL AND READ THE ITEMIZED ITEMS ON YOUR CHECK!

I wouldnt venture out here specifically for this place, but this is good Georgian food at a good price. That said, I prefer the khachapuri at Cheeseboat in Williamsburg. Also, note that the waitstaff may seem sullen or rude to you if youre not used to customer service standards in that part of the world. Dont take it personally.

Cute little eatery serving traditional Georgian cuisine. We came on a fairly warm day, and the A/C was unfortunately not on.
