Ordered 2 croissant breakfast sandwiches and a coffee. The lady at the counter who took our order said to take a seat. Something didnt feel right. After about 15 minutes we hadnt received any of our order. I flagged her down and she said she forgot about our drinks- fine.. We asked for some water too at this point. our coffee finally came but in a chipped mug and upon its arrival we asked again for water. 10 minutes later she came back to ask what food we ordered! We told her our order again even though we really should have just left at this point! I flagged down another worker who brought us water in a chipped glass! 30 minutes total for the food to arrive and it wasnt that great. Soggy too-buttery croissant with grayish eggs and beef bacon; Coulda done a better job myself, obviously. We paid our bill at the counter because no one was coming to help us. It wasnt terribly busy and there were literally 10 people working. It was exactly as I expected it to be based on the appearance. Go to "le Paris dekar" "manhattanville" or "Lula bagal". These places know how to operate a restaurant.

Great place to go on a weekend when youre not in a rush and can sit down to enjoy a delicious croissants. Flavorful, buttery, and filling. Theyre about $3-$4 each depending on the filling, my fave is the spinach and cheese croissant. Dessert is also really delicious, everything is made at the bakery. They often have day-olds at the register, $3 for two (usually a croissant and a muffin) theyre exactly what youd get with day olds. Croissants are still good though :)

The BEST pastries outside of Switzerland and France! Going here reminded me of my childhood in Lausanne, where my breakfasts consisted of nothing but many croissants. The place doesnt look like much from the outside (or the inside for that matter), but if people leave any first impressions or potential prejudice out, theyll be treated to some heavenly pastries and food options.

This was my go-to for a great coffee when I lived in Crown Heights. The pastries are all baked fresh and are amazing! From the cheese danishes to the croissants to the french toast (no syrup needed) to the cookies... the list goes on and on! They also have lunch and dinner and free wifi, in case youre looking for a place to work remotely for the day!

The best bakery around! their pastries and croissants are great, and I cannot recommend their sourdough and five-grains breads enough! Now they also have some tables where you can get excellent coffee and enjoy a warm and tasty breakfast. Their staff is the friendliest, particularly the owner, he is always smiling and clearly loves what he does!

Based on its looks, Richol Bakery doesnt thrill. But if you get past the IKEA-esque look youll be pleasantly surprised. The place offers the most moist almond croissant Ive ever had! And of impressive proportions too. The next best thing? Is the staff & owner himself - always inviting & courteous. Plus, they take credit cards ($5 minimum).

I know the place doesnt look like much, but the pastries and desserts are incredible: you will not believe how good they are. Thats what happens when a French pastry chef moves into the neighborhood. I recommend the Chocolate Danish, the plain croissant, the eclair and the Paris Brest, but you really cant go wrong.

Got there for coffee and pastry at 7:30 in the morning, definitely got yesterdays croissant. Bathroom water was shut off for both the toilet and the sink, there wasnt any sign and I found that out waaaay too late.

A salmon omelette? Delicious. Croque Madame? Outstanding. Coffee? Perfect. Almond croissant? The best! You cant go wrong. I love this place. 45 minute drive from my house, but totally worth it.
