I visited this past Saturday. Several of the cats and kittens had eye infections and the staff -who I think are all volunteers and therefore not to blame- did not seem to be even aware of it. I have volunteered in a cat shelter before and it would not admit visitors, not even volunteers, due to minor cats health issues - let alone for something as easily transmittable as eye infection. Also the cats have too many visitors - they look bored and desensitized. The purpose of this cat café is awesome, but they need to take their cats health and well-being more seriously.

Super cozy place and the prices to visit the cats were very reasonable. They really want to promote adopting cats which is really nice. The cats were super sweet even though one of them didnt like people that much. The employees/volunteers were all sweethearts and were very concerned with making the cats have a safe and comfortable environment.

definitely a better alternative to shelters, but overall health of some of the cats was very questionable. One cat had an eye infection of some sort, and another cat had a serious respiratory issue. Looked uncomfortable for the cats which seemed to be desensitized to constantly being touched. Left there feeling slightly sad/ guilty.

The cats here are so fun to play with. There are plenty of toys and nice comfortable chairs to sit on. Like the other reviewers have said, the focus is more on the cats and less on the cafe; there arent really many drinks to buy. However, this doesnt really matter since the cats are what you came for anyway right?

Having a cat cafe/shelter is a brilliant idea. The cats are adorable and the cafe is well managed. There are enough cats for you to find someone to pet. It may not feel as good as cuddling with your own cat, since youre a stranger to these cats, but they are pretty loving. Do visit and support them!

Really nice place, its a bit small but the cats are very friendly and there are kittens here. All the cats are available for adoption so be careful what you tell kids here because you may walk out with a new cat lol. Theres no A/C, at least when I went, so its a bit warm here.

The cats were sweet, the staff was a pleasure and the space is cozy. The only issue I had was with the other patrons who felt entitled to the cats despite obvious body language to be left alone. Obviously this isnt the cafes fault and I really look forward to my next visit.

This place is an excellent nonprofit trying to do their best to help homeless cats. The volunteers are sweethearts. I spent just 40 minutes here and made 4 cats friends. Its a great place to relax and hopefully find your next best friend to adopt!

My friends and I went all the way to Brooklyn just to be turned away at the door. They did not post their new hours on their website or on the door, but theyre closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the summer. Thanks for wasting my metro card money.

This is cat person central. For those that cant have pets, come hang out and keep the felines well loved and socialized. And if you can have pets, all the kitties in the place are adoptable, so come meet your newest furry friend.

Not much of a cafe, but the cats more than make up for it. So many kitties, its cat paradise... All shapes and sizes, if you are in the neighborhood, you have to bring your children, or yourself, you wont regret it.

The cats were adorable! there were lots of little kittens and toys to play with the cats, but unfortunately theyre mostly not very playful. Probably because so many people mess with them day after day.

They focus more on the cats than the cafe here, which means you get more petting for your $$$. Its not as clean and tidy as manhattan counterparts, but I think its better.

$5 for each 30 minutes, reservations requested and easily submitted on their wonderful website. Some hours available for adults only. ;) The cats are awesome.
