The Groupon "deal" is a scam. Ive been to Pronto a few times and the pizza isnt bad. So when I saw a Groupon deal ($11 for a large 16-inch pie, worth $21), I didnt even think twice about buying it. I called to place an order for a "large 16-inch pie" and this is how that dialogue went: Me: Hi, can I place an order for a large 16-inch pie? Girl with attitude problem: Is this the Groupon deal? Me: Yes Girl with attitude problem: What do you want? Me: Can I have half a veggie and half... Girl with attitude problem: You cant order any of the special pies. You can order it with toppings but each topping is an additional $2 Me: But the deal says its worth $21 Girl with attitude problem: Its only for cheese pies and youll have to pay for the additional toppings. It just doesnt say it in the fine print but thats how the deal works. Me (resisting with all my might to not give a attitude back because I didnt want a loogie in my pie and my Groupon was expiring soon): Thats fine. So bottom line, it seems like they dont like the Groupons, and just make up their own rules for it. Because nowhere in the deal did it say any of the rules she told me. Otherwise, I probably wouldnt have bought it. It seems like they only put the Groupon deal out there to trap customers. What a terrible experience! I used to come here occasionally but I wont be coming here anymore.

We go here all the time. The pizza is usually very good. Well one day after running around From 9am until 6pm we opted for pizza. A Plus since my wife had a Groupon for a large 16" pie. We called and ordered we were asked if this was from Groupon and said yes. What a big mistake. They use the dough for a small pie and made our large it was so thin. I Added Chicken for 3 dollars thinking we were getting a great deal since we had just ordered 5 pies 4 days earIier and knew what to expect. Well when we got home it was a joke. This sick looking pizza was paper thin very little cheese and the chicken was so thin it looked like bread crumbs. I was pissed so I called up the manager on Halloween night and my wife and I told him all this. He could not care less if he tried. All in all we will never go there again after being treated like this. Go to the photos and look for the hand holding the pizza to see what Im talking about. I Will be contacting Groupon about their business practices.

Stay away from this place! Terrible experience. Ordered two pies that were listed on a groupon as 16 inch pies having a value of $20 each. Once you order, there is no 16 inch pie on the menu! The pie you are given costs $11 each regular price. So you pay $10 per pie on Groupon for a pie that only costs $11 and pronto is getting free advertising by lying about what they are giving you - or not giving you- a pie they list having a $20 value. The owner is nasty and actually stated that if I wanted a pie valued at $20 (per whats in black and white on Groupon that he signed up for), I should go to Dominos!! Disrespectful?? This is a business clearly engaging in deceptive practices and not honoring the terms of the deal they listed with Groupon. There are much better pizza places in the area that treat their customers with respect.

Ordered two slices to go, the girl placed in the oven and I waited. A few minutes later a guy came to hand me my pizza on some plates. I said it was to go, he huffed and placed in a bag and handed to me. Could I have left? I didnt pay yet so I had to ask how much. I paid and left. Got home 4 minutes later and the slices were ice cold. Were they even in the oven? I had to reheat at home. Once heated they tasted very good. A little better device would go a long way. I guess why the big dining room was empty while I was there.

My family was born and raised in Brooklyn. We are ALL foodies. Ive moved away from NYC and when my family visits, we make it a point to eat Prontos. We always get some penna ala vodka pizza along with regular slices. We also occasionally order zeppoli which, the last time we were there, was not on the menu [add nutella to the zeppoli for an even sweeter treat]. The staff is always more than friendly, even when it is madcap busy. When we have non New Yorkers along with us in NY, this is where we take them for pizza.

I ordered two 6 foot heros for a party which cost $195.00 for both (Philly cheese steak and grilled chicken with mozzarella and peppers). I was EMBARRASSED to serve them to my company. They were all bread with almost NO meat, cheese or peppers! A guest of mine said she recently had same experience when ordering for a party from Pronto. Called and spoke with owners son who told me "everyone has a bad day." TERRIBLE do NOT order!!! (Owners son did ask what he could do for me. I said, "nothing thank you!")

Worst in house service ever, waitress is slow as a tortoise with three shells to carry. Were not offered menus, took forever for the order to be taken, table water was murky. Now I wouldnt mind if it was busy, but nobody is here, i wonder why !! Food is great if you order out, but as we are eating in the experience is lacking. Think ill eat at Knapp St in future.

I stumbled on the prior review while looking up Prontos phone number. We have several really good pizza places in this area, and Pronto is one of them. We mix it up a bit, but find ourselves ordering from Pronto a lot lately. No one stays in the pizza business very long around here if theyre not really good.

Food is pretty good... service is horrible. I have been twice eating and called for delivery and the result is the same. Awful attitude and they treat you like you wer3 not paying for the food. Customer service is the base for a business, you guys should check on your staff.

This pizza is AMAZING. The food is GREAT too. The stuffed pizza, is both delicious, and satisfying, it makes me want more. The root beer is also VERY VERY good. I just had it, it tastes amazing. I didnt know they made it themselves. Quite impressive.

Not sure what is happening here, I loved this spot but seems like its going down for the count. My Buffalo roll tasted like it was made yesterday and reheated twice!
