Great pizza, shady pricing. Came down from NYC to visit my best good friend and her family in Ocean Grove. The last night we wanted to buy them dinner for their hospitality and gave them the option of choosing where. They chose crust and crumble and it was delicious. They are pretty clear about extra charges like gluten free crusts etc. But they werent so clear about what constitutes a specialized personal pizza which is $10 as opposed to what constitutes a regular personal pizza which was $6. In actuality I didnt even see where it indicated a $10 upcharge on a pizza. I just assumed each item would be an ala carte surcharge...wrong! You can add 5 toppings or more or less and you get charged $4 more no matter the amount. Which isnt so bad when you want 7 items on your pizza...but it feels like a rip-off when you get charged $4 more for just adding mushrooms and extra cheese. An honestly how many people add more than 1 or 2 items to their pie? The food is great just be ready to have any personal pizza you order be $10 and not the advertised $6 and youll be fine

I came here with a few friends on a Friday Night. All we wanted was a slice of a pizza but they dont serve slices- instead they make you order a personal pan pizza or a regular pie. So my friends ordered a full pie ($22). I noticed they had a vegan menu on the back and was very excited to see this and ordered the portobella sandwich. When we got our food I was in disbelief that they had the audacity to charge $8 for this poor excuse of a sandwich. It came out on a burned bun, had a a dried up slice of portebella on top of a Dr Pragears veggie burger (that you buy in the frozen section of the supermarket) and some lettuce. I couldnt even eat it it tasted so awful and bland. So instead I grabbed a slice of pizza from the plain pie that was ordered- which tasted like flour. My sister said it tasted like someone antiqued her pizza. I cant believe this place has the nerve to call themselves GOURMET and charge that much money. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

This casual eatery is tucked away in the back of a building on the main Cookman Ave. strip and provides a good selection of pizza, pastas, and salads. Everything is very reasonably priced, and the pizza has gluten free and non-dairy options plus many, many topping choices. Pasta dishes are huge, so if you get one dont plan on eating the entire thing yourself if youve ordered anything else. Service is very nice but weve gone there a couple of times when they were supposed to be open and they were not, so definitely call before you go because it seems that there are sometimes issues that cause them to close early on occasion!

The only reason this is getting two stars is because of the service. They were very nice and helpful. Attentive to all my needs and eager to help. The food on the other hand... The Buffalo chicken sandwich was dry. The bread was way too toasted (which I would suggest they start asking if people want the bread toasted) and after I left I started to feel like my body would not digest it. I ended up throwing out the other half. The vegan meatball sub way too salty. So I guess the moral here is just order extra water and you should be fine.

We went to this place with some friends who were vegan. I dont know how the vegan food tastes, since my husband and I ordered the meat lovers pizza and the margherita pizza. I have to say that these were the most boring pizzas Ive had in a long time. The crust was bland and tasted like flour. The sauce was bland as well. Our server was really nice and had told us that the pizzas were excellant here. Needless to say, we were very disappointed after receiving our food. I wont go here again. They should be ashamed to serve these pizzas.

Long time customer and had no problems with this place until I was short changed on my order by one of the cashiers. My bill was $23, I handed the cashier a $50 and didnt realized until I got home she only gave me back $6. I call and spoke with the owner the next morning. Instead of him apologizing and explaining their was not way for him to figure out what happen, he told me I could have dropped it outside or in my car. Small business owners I try to support but this place will never see my business or my friends business again.

I was invited by a Client to this place and he was in a rush, after the waitress with no one in the place didnt come back after 10 minutes my client got up and inquired as to where the waitress was. The owner a nasty man told him and the yelled at me ( I didnt even say a word) to leave. Food is mediocre and the owner is a nasty individual who Runs his business opening up whenever and is not someone who should own a business. CUSTOMER SERVICE 0

Crust and Crumble has some of the best gluten free pizza around. They make their crust in house and it shows. The pizza used to be too thick, but theyve improved their crust over time and now the flavors of the delicious pizza sauce and toppings comes through nicely. They also have some great salads and the bill wont break the bank. If you split a pizza and salad it will run you around $25, which is expected.

They have a full vegan menu (and its fantastic)! I always have to get the frachos and the jalapeno poppers. Theyre so good! I also really love the vegan mac and cheese, though, the "bacon" bits are a bit weird. The sauce is delicious, so I can look passed the weird bacon bits!

Had the Very Veggie Pizza with red bell peppers , olives, mushrooms and artichoke hearts on whole wheat crust. Best yet, waitress was extremely friendly and I had my pizza in ten minutes flat - at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. Also had a very fancy caramel cupcake.
