Let me start off by saying this is probably the first review Ive written in years. But the manager at this shop was such a pr*ck that I have to say something. Had the worst experience. I called from midtown asking how long for a pick up for the Brooklyn location. They say 20minutes. I thought that was quick for a Friday night. went ahead and placed it. I ride my bike to the Williamsburg location in about 25 minutes and they said the order hasnt even gone in yet. Pretty disappointed but I wait. In the 50 minutes I waited I watched how they store their unbuilt/unwrapped pizza boxes on the ground. On the tile. Like the floor that all their staff walks on. Then I see a staff member built the pizza boxes. Thats grimey af. You put pizza in the same box that touches the ground you walk all over? Nasty. I talk to some clown named Josh. Apparently he was managing that night. I told him that I had a work meeting and ordered the pizza expecting to show up on time to work. I asked rude-boy Josh if I could get a discount or refund of some sort for waiting an extra 30minutes. He says no because "then I would have to give one to everyone". I dont know how that really makes sense but whatever. I ask them if they still have the same GM because Ive been ordering here for years and I wasnt happy with the service. He says "yeah but hes at a wedding so dont bother him" As Im walking out he grabs my attention and asked if I want to submit a complaint. The manager has a nasty grin on. He looks proud of himself. Like hes glad he finally pissed me off. I know the game hes playing because Ive worked retail for 11 years. Ive been a manager too. Ive worked in a kitchen for more than half my life since my family owns a business in the food industry too. He was mad at me because I was mad at him for treating me poorly. Such irony. I tell him fine, I would like to Submit a complaint because hes being rude and hes just given me awful service and now im 20 minutes late to my meeting but what does it matter now since Ive already wasted my time and money. Then, Josh snatches the notebook from my hands and ignored me while he begins to attend other customers and laughs at my expense. Wtf? Let me repeat myself. He asked my if id like to submit a complaint then takes the notebook out of my hands, ignores me, and laughed at me while he begins to help other customers. Missed my meeting. Staff at my job didnt get any pizza. Was humiliated and ignored in public after giving this business my money. Not only have you lost my business but Ill be sure to spread the word. When the moon hits the sky like a big Willi pie ... its amore ... My ideal pizza is a crafted thin crust with a chewy centre, a bit of crunch and lots of passion. So here I find yet another reason to salute New York. After the U.S. Civil War (which resulted in over a half million killed or wounded) immigrant workers were recruited from Italy and elsewhere to fill the US labour shortage caused by the war. Then in 1905 the first pizza license was granted to a Italian grocer in Manhattan. So, if you want to taste the best "pizza da pie", its safe to say that NY is not only the place but... ...The grand daddy pie perfecter... Williamsburg Pizza was recently named NY mags Best Slice Joint. A high accolade for a city crowded with pizza so I knew this place was going to be good. Nothing could prepare me though for a pizza slice that you can hold horizontally that stays up. The thin crust disc is crispy enough for a good crunch but chewy enough to devour. Maybe their secret is in the bubbled dough that looks deep fried but without all the grease? Grab a lunch time slice unless youre brave and take on a $15-28 dollar pie bigger than your head. What possessed us to go for the latter? I have no idea. Next time, I will definitely go for slices and try the entire menu. With the Brooklyn banter in unpretentious surroundings @WburgPizza is a slice of advice that you have to take. The biggest pizza known to man ... ... with a lot of love to give ... ... keep it Brooklyn ... Williamsburg Pizza 265 Union Ave, Brookly, NY 11211, United States

After reading reviews online I decided to check out Williamsburg pizza while visiting brooklyn for the first time. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I was rushed through placing my order as the attendant that answered the phone acted as if she didnt have the time to serve me. After waiting over an hour for my pizza, they delivered me the wrong pizza. I called to get my order corrected and the lady answering the phone proceeded to tell me that they didnt get my order wrong and that was what I ordered. She acted as if she didnt want to help me in correcting my order and getting me the food that I had originally ordered. After having to ask for a new pizza she just said okay and hung up on me. If she would have listened to me when I made my original order instead of rushing me off the phone then this would not have happened. Furthermore, if she would have been apologetic and willing to fix her mistake I would have been happy. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service.

Man, let me start off by saying I love their pizza. I really do - and thats what makes this so tough. They lost a loyal customer because of routinely taking over 1.5 hours (sometimes even closer to 2.5 hours) to deliver a pizza. The last three times I ordered, the pizza arrived lukewarm or cold. One time I was told Id be refunded back on my card, but that never happened. The last time they forgot to bring garlic knots I ordered, and I never got them. I get the feeling this place is severely understaffed with delivery drivers.

Hands down, this is the best pizza Ive had since I moved to Brooklyn, in the realm of by-the-slice experiences. Ive tried a bunch of other places in the area but theres something about this one that just gets it right... every single time. It doesnt help that I work like 3 blocks away. Seriously, its not fair when your favorite pizza joint is closer than your gym. Its almost a problem -- but one Im definitely ok living with ;) My go-to are the Pepperoni and the Sophia Lauren. Ive yet to try something Im not a fan of.

Why are they so rude??? I walked in and asked to use the bathroom before I order I had to wash my hands but the guy simply shoved me to the back. Mind you I was the only one there. Now its time to order and lord was he not okay with me asking for a menu. He honestly grabbed the menu and dropped them and silverware on the table. I left with nothing why eat somewhere the staff acts like brats.

Ordered delivery—the pizza took an hour to arrive, and of course came cold. There is nothing worse than being excited to get pizza only to get it cold and chewy. Im disgusted that this is allowed to happen, I want my money back to be honest. After I heated up the pizza in an oven, it tasted bland, and the pepperoni was punishingly salty. Gross experience. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!
