This is THE WORST service I have ever received at a restaurant (and we are frequenters of restaurants of a wide variety from around the country). From the time we walked in the people in charge--the owners--clearly had issues with our party (6 adults and 4 kids) despite the fact that they knew the breakdown of our party ahead of time. In a pizza place, mind you, he had the nerve to ask us to keep it down for his other customers before we had even sat down. There was clear prioritizing of certain patrons over others. Mind you we were not rowdy, not consuming alcohol, and parents even stepped out when a baby started crying etc etc. While the wait staff was very kind and accommodating and I feel so sorry they have to work in that environment, the owners actively chose to accost us when he decided to approach us as we were paying the bill and gathering our things to leave. And even after informing him that we were leaving and there was no need to continue his aggressive attack, he continued to feel the need to tell us how he has never had a party like us in four years, etc etc. Of note, another patron with a young child seems to similarly have had a bad experience based on their review below -- I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Rudest staff (presumably was the owner) I have ever encountered. Asked us to arrive early for our 5:30 reservation, which we did, and proceeded to admonish us for our "volume" within 5 minutes when the restaurant was basically EMPTY. Even when we were paying our bill within 1 HOUR of arriving, owner again proceeded to confront us after our children had sat in one place, talked amongst themselves and not bothered a single other patron or staff member. NOT kid friendly. Doubt we would have been treated this way if we had been white.

This was my first time visiting Pisseria Posto, and the pizza was delicious. They offer a smaller selection of artisanal pizza which was great. My boyfriend and I split a Margharita pizza and the Mama Mia. Both were cooked to perfection and were served hot out of the oven. The staff was nice and friendly. The location is tucked away off of the main strip Rhinebeck next to the large municipal lot in a courtyard. Definitely recommend if you are looking to try some pizza that is a bit more refined, but still at a reasonable price.

Giovanna and I stopped in for a bite on a recent somewhat cool Fall afternoon. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a glass of wine and a cold beer. We ordered two of their gourmet pizzas and a salad. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect. Our waitress Lilly was cute, friendly, and she had a great personality. 5 Stars! Even the bathroom was clean.

Pizzeria Posto brings fresh brick oven pizza to the Rhinebeck dining scene. The difference here comes from the fresh house made and local sourced ingredients. This simplicity leads to award worthy pizza miles away from the big city. If pizza is what you crave, then Posto is your place.

Today Was My First Visit To This Quaint Pizzeria. The Pizza Was Delicious. The Only Problem Was The Pie Was Only A 12 Inch Pie Not Nearly Enough For 4 People And Was A Bit Pricey 25.00 For 8 Very Small Slices. However Every Bite Was Savored. I Would Definitely Return

Wow - this is quite the find. Tucked away in Rhinebeck the pizza is delicious and unique (pistachio on a pizza)! The salads are fantastic and each is very distinct. I found the staff to be both friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning.

We absolutely love this place. The staff was friendly, everything we ordered on the menu was perfection, excellent wine list and the pizzas were comparable to pizza i have had in Italy and Sicily. Its off the main drag so its quiet and lovely.

What a charming pizza place in the middle of Rhinebeck! The food and ambience were perfect. Patrick, the owner was very warm and personable with myself, my husband and children. We cant wait to come back again. Definitely check this place out.

Ive searched NY and California for the best. This is it. The BEST pizza Ive ever had. The best service. Patrick the owner and I talked about how to find the best ingredients around to make the best pizza. Love this place.
