Pizza Den is conveniently located steps from the D train, making it a favorite before-stopping-home place to get their pizza on. Despite there being two other pizzerias in the immediate hood, this place always seems to be busy -- a great sign. They have all the Italian favorites and of those, their pizza is quite good. Always fresh and lots of selections. The place itself is nothing to look at really, but is clean and they have TVs usually playing sports of some kind. The folks working there all have interesting personalities, very direct but not in a rude sort of way. They keep good track of all the crazy random orders that come thru and theyre always "on top of it". They are a CASH ONLY place; no credit cards welcome here. They do delivery, but I havent tried that service just yet.

THE BIGGEST JERKS EVER- IF YOU ORDER A DELIVERY AFTER 11 PM OR LATER, cause they close at 1 am, youre in for a very unpleasant surprise. Ive had two incidents with these guys where they left me hanging on both occasions without a pizza or a phone call. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. I live just a few blocks from them and they still left me hanging. The guy who answers the phone has a nasty attitude and he is very incompetent.

I ordered a pie to go, they didnt give paper plates and napkins, so I asked for it. Took over a minute for them to hand over some paper plates then walk away. When I tried to grab some napkins from the counter. The guy rudely demanded me to stop, and then handed me a few with his eyes rolled. WTH, either they looked down to Asians or they expected their customers to eat without plates and wipe our mouth with hands/fingers.

Im partial to La Sorrentinas plain pie, so it wouldnt be fair for me to rate Pizza Den based on that. That being said, no one can compare to Pizza Dens white pie. There are gobs of ricotta on the pizza and its impossible to stop eating because its THAT GOOD. The staff is always very polite and friendly, and you never have to wait long for your food to be ready.

The only reason I give them 2 stars because the food is amazing but they are very rude people that work there I wont bother to go there if they continue to act that way im a good customer go there almost all the time.

Best pizza in Bensonhurst! Always fresh and moving pizza! Nice family business, who treat you well, the tomato sauce is superb, cheese taste amazing and crust is of good quality and crispy!

Pizza is decent but most of the other food is frozen and not homemade. There are many better options. They are open very very late.

This is a place you can always count on. I recommend the fresh mozzarella with basil slice. They also have a great Sicilian pizza.
