The food was great and the ambiance was really nice. The service however was terrible. There was a mix up with my food, which I assured the server was fine, mistakes happen, but she was not at all apologetic and made me feel like I was being a bother for wanting it fixed. After finishing our food our plates sat in the middle of the table for a good half hour before anyone stopped by to ask if they could take them. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and were trying to plan the next leg of our road trip so they were really in the way. Upon getting ready to leave my husband brushed against a painting that was on the wall by our booth and the server gave him a dirty look and informed him it was expensive. The two girls that were waiting on us were just overall inattentive and rude and made us feel unwelcome and like we were a bother for being there. I still recommend this place bc the food was excellent, just dont expect much from the service staff. I hate saying that, Ive been in the service industry over 20 years, this is one of the few times Ive been this aggravated over service, but I have to call it like I see it.

This place got the best reviews every time I googled best "coffee shop to do work" on every website. I work remotely so I am always trying new places to change up the scenery. There is nothing wrong with this place, the staff is super friendly and the coffee is good. Its just very very quiet. I kind of feel like I am sitting in a library or in the quiet car on Amtrak only with smooth jazz playing in the background. Everyone is just plugging away on their laptops and it feels very disruptive if someone is talking, not to me just to the environment. If that is the setting you seek to get your work done, this is definitely the place but if you need a little more chatter in the background and warm summer air, there are better choices in A town.

I went to this place after doing a quick search online. I had a day off from work and my mom did too. I decided to do a girls day out after we did errands at the nearby Costco. Parking was a bit difficult but its understandable. Best bet is to take the nearby N/W train. Anyways the baristas greet you as soon as you come in. Menu is explained if you have any questions. Reasonably priced. Immaculate facilities. Organized condiments table. The almond milk latte I ordered was made perfectly. Espresso was smooth and had great creama and even though almond milk is hard to froth the barista did it and in a short amount of time too. Im very pleased with this place!

Great coffee and service. The owner/manager is a smart guy who communicates well with his staff and finds great ways to improve. Pro tip: considering the "hip" vibe of the place - they do sell a lot of little gifts and stuff for very affordable prices - even cute things like mini coffee plants. Definitely check them out if you need a bday gift for a coffee lover.

Wonderful! Great coffee (and tea), relaxing, very clean, beautiful but simple design. Kind of a relaxed quiet sophistication but local friendly feel, If I lived near here, Id visit often. Great jazz tracks. The way the light hits this place, adds to the warm atmosphere, but not too bright. Near the train so easy to grab a cup on the way to work too.

The staff is really nice. But the espresso was sour and even when I got an ice latte it was sour. Meaning that the espresso was under extracted and just didnt taste good at all. Its in a good location to lounge and chill on your laptop but I wouldnt order an espresso base beverage from there

It feels too expensive for the area ($16-17 for 12 oz of coffee beans...) and they limit their WiFi use to one hour. Their ice cream is DELICIOUS though -- one of the only places I know that sells hand-scooped ice cream (not frozen yogurt) in this part of Astoria.

Great spot to experience freshly roasted coffee in Astoria! As the baristas if they have different roasts available before you order an espresso drink! They sell freshly roasted coffee and also baked goods. The coffee is great, as is the ambiance and service.

The staff were super friendly. We ordered iced matcha latte and iced americano. my husbands Iced Americano was really good and my iced matcha latte was fine, but was too milky for my taste. we also had a apricot danish with our drinks and it was very tasty.

Nice chill location. Small and neat. The internet is only connected for an hour so that gets annoying reconnecting but then again I mean I have been in here chillin and getting stuff done so I would say this is a great spot to work study or bring a date.

Stopped by because I was in the neighborhood and had good reviews. Very nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. The interior is very laid back and they have about 6 tables with plenty of chairs. Good American coffee.

Solid coffee in a refreshing and funky-clean atmosphere. Space to work, free wifi, in pleasant surroundings. Late was pretty darn good, not the best in town. The Lemmon ginger iced tea was refreshing and bright.

My favorite coffee/tea shop in Astoria. I only wish it were bigger so I didnt have to worry about seating on busy days. :D Friendly staff. Fast service. A very inviting and quiet space to sit and work or read.

Excellent all around. Very cool vibe, great coffee, fair pricing, and gf says "get the ice cream sandwich." Awesome neighborhood coffee shop, and when Im not in the mood for Starbucks, this is my go to.

Delicious! A true Astoria gem. Went from a bold venture for good independent coffee in Astoria to a cornerstone of the community. Thank you for opening and I wish you great success in the years ahead

This place is my jam. Its is also a Jem in a darkened room. I live next door and this place saves me every morning I can get to it. Great simple design and the friendliest staff in the hood.

Decent coffee that costs more than Starbucks or any other fancyshmancy hippsterr drip joint. Its a shame you cant even drink this scalding cup because the lids leak coffee on every sip.

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, welcoming owners. Always a great place to do work, and occasionally they have great events in the evenings. Cannot recommend this place enough.

This place has good coffee but lacks character. Its a very generic high end coffee shop apparently trying to ride a new wave of gentrification in this part of Astoria.

This is a casual, quant, small coffee shop in the heart of Astoria. There is limited seating. Very good wifi speeds, and great coffee and tea.
