First time coming here as the owners used to run another sushi place in New Jersey (which is still a top-notch sushi restaurant there). They have since branched out to Ardsley with Umami.. and Ooh Mami! (sorry, had to say it). Theyve always had a good eye for really good fish and the presentation and service is still top notch. Collin and Candy are serving up fresh and delicious food (and some crazy spicy wasabi!). They are definitely worth checking out if you live in the area. So dont be picky, Try something new and order some sushi.

We have been going here since they took ownership. The fish is at the top of any sushi we have ever had, at even, the best and most expensive sushi restaurants. The owners are warm, welcoming and will do everything to make your experience wonderful. Umami Sushi is a slice of heaven in our week whenever we get there. Ontop of this the value of their meals are unbelievable. Try them you too will be a believer.

Good food. The rolls are definitely fresh and flavorful! Goyoza is yummy too and fried ice cream is out of this world!!! Didnt give this more stars due to the to-go hiccups... they didnt give us chop sticks or soy sauce for the rolls. Also the price was a little high for what we got, paid about $33 but for 2 people we were still hungry after eating...!

This is the place to get Sashimi, Sushi and other Japanese favorites. I go here all the time with my family and they order the chicken teriyaki & the beef nagamaki and are always satisfied. The fish they use is top notch, the service is amazing & very friendly. On the weekends it gets a little busy but worth the wait.
