I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was... edible. The service was slow. And throughout the entire meal, we had headlights blinding us. The food that we ordered tasted extremely processed. The crab cakes looked and tasted like they came frozen and seemed almost like chicken patties. The enchiladas were topped with what appeared to be canned tomato sauce. The rice and beans were not at all what we expected. Unlike many other reviews stated, this place was far from authentic. The service was not to expectation. They had one server running the entire restaurant, and it took way too long to get our drinks and order. Once we did order, they never returned to the the table to refill the drinks. Overall, we will never be going back there and will not recommend this place to anyone. The food was terrible, the service was bad, and the atmosphere was far from perfect. The food was also overpriced for what we recived. Just skip this place and search for another.

Good bad good bad..... Nice place inside.... except the cashier table and stuff stacked in the corner. Friendly staff. Large menu. Ordered a combo platter with red sauce. Every other mex restaurant offers red or green sauce. They offered six different sauces. I wish I had known. Its on the menu. Didnt see them. The red at this restaurant is marinara. SPAGHETTI SAUCE‼️ Who the heck puts that in Mexican food? NOBODY. I ate half of it because I was actually hungry when I came in. But I did not enjoy it. Ill take half the blame but nobody in this hemisphere would expect marinara on mex food. And it was overpriced. $18.15 for a three item combo. I am just passing through on vacation or I would try them again...except for the price. You should serve pizza too. Lol

Tasty and authentic, it is sort of tucked away in a shopping center and not really in a location that stands out. Service was fast and friendly, the food was fresh and well-made. If youre looking for spicy, Tex-mex this might not be for you. Its very balanced and mild, authentic Oaxacan fare. Flip on the gps and give it a try!

I highly recommend Tenampa at 1341 Route 9 Toms River, NJ 08755. The food and service are impressive. I would venture to say that the Burrito Buena Vida is one of my all time favorite dishes. On occasion you can eat to the sounds of an acoustic guitar player. The only negative, if any, is that Tenampa is closed on Mondays!

I didnt like this place what so ever. I ordered 4 dishes and I got like 6. I also ordered 2 tacos and I got 6 instead. One thing that really stood out was how much I payed. I payed $86 for food I didnt even purchase ( order ). I wouldnt recommend this place and to be honest, I wouldnt ever go back. I was very disappointed.

Best kept secret in town. My favorite place to eat. Always consistent always delicious. Creamy Chipotle i can drink like a shake and their pork is always on point. Number 4 pork burrito chirrizo soft taco with chipolte cream the thing dreams are made of!!!

This is one of the better if not the best Mexican places in the area. They used to have a location in Brick which was closer, but I dont mind driving the extra distance, its worth it. The cream and tomato Chipotle Sauces are great.

This is the real deal authentic Mexican food. On a scale of 1-10 this is a 9&1/2. Portions may be less than usual but still left full and is definitely worth the price.
