My review is two-fold. I own and operate Jersey Shore-Fresh Restaurant Guide (not a public business). I order cakes frequently for various affairs as well. Today I ordered two cakes, both 1/4 sheets with some special instructions. The ordering process via telephone was difficult. We pick up our cakes on Sunday morning at about 11 am. Lets see how they do. They are going to get a review on JSFRG for their efforts. Once we have used the final products on Sunday, I will return here to let you all know how it actually turned out. Im giving three stars for now, because the ordering process was NOT all that it could have been...it was quite annoying at best. The pick-up and final analysis may well change that for the better...I hope.

Just came back to Miami from Toms River. I visited La Scala--any kind of Italian pastry, cookie or cake you can think of. I smuggled 2 chocolate covere cannoli in my suitcase. We also bought had rum-flavored, custard-filled pastry and french cream filled cream puffs, and Napoleons. Good thing I only go to Jersey once a year!

The canolis were good and that was about it. Every thing else was stale and old and tasted like it sat in the refrigerator for months. Just to clarify I got a bunch of different small pastries. I have been there twice and disappointed twice. The items werent fresh and were very bland. Will not be returning.

Tired of the girls there charging me different prices for the same thing every time I go so I stopped not to mention they have all have attitudes.if my business was as slow as theirs is I would definitely get my employees in check
