I got screwed. I paid $300 for a cake they messed up. I ordered a cake for my sons first birthday party. I came as planned in the morning to pick up the cake. When I got there, I had seen that they spelled his name wrong. Even though its only 4 letters, they screwed it up. So the baker told me hed fix it real quick, no problem. Ten minutes later, he calls me into the back and says that he cant take the name off because it will ruin the fondant. So the guy tells me he can make a plaque for my sons name instead to cover up the old icing where his name used to be, but it will take some time and that he would deliver it. I told him ok, but I better get a discount because I gave you guys a weeks notice to do this cake and you couldnt even get his name right. The guy said, no problem. When the delivery guy brings your cake, he will notify you of the discount. So the delivery guy comes and proceeds to tell me that the baker is only going to give me $25 off off of my next cake! Hah! Are you kidding me?? Wth makes them think Im going to be back after that?! Unreal. Cake looked good, but they screwed me over.

Ive been involved with many social and community events over last 5 or more years that JenniCakes has provided the cake or cup cake spread. Each and every time the creativity and presentation of the cakes has been great. This shop takes the time to personalize the cakes making them all the more fitting and special. In addition to the visual appeal of these cakes the flavor combos of the cake and icing is always rich, moist and delicious. JenniCakes takes the time to develop such deep flavor profiles it makes me look forward to the next event with much anticipation!

If you want cake that looks amazing and is also incredibly delicious, look no further! JenniCakes did my wedding cake, and a custom Walking Dead inspired cake for my husbands 30th birthday, and both far exceeded our expectations! Shes done cakes for my cousin as well, and theyre always amazing. Her years of baking experience and the caring behind her artistry are overwhelmingly apparent. My only wish is that I lived closer and could order from her more often!!

Jenni goes above and beyond to make our ideas a reality every year for several different occasions. Her cakes both taste fantastic and look amazing. I stop in once in a while to pick up a dozen cupcakes in a variety of her cake flavors- its hard to pick a favorite, but I love her red velvet, death by chocolate, and boston creme.

The shop is extraordinarily messy and staff is not terribly professional (We were left waiting for an unreasonably long time before anyone approached the counter.). Cakes are pretty but meh tasting, like what youd get from store bought cake mixes. For the cost, Id recommend looking elsewhere.
