More like 3.5, but for this area definitely a solid 4. I appreciate that this restaurant exists in this area, as good authentic Chinese food is hard to find. I got the fried pork chop and rice, the beef noodle soup with flat white noodles (default noodles), and the shredded dried bean curd with pork. All three are traditional Taiwanese dishes, and Taipei Noodle House did them well enough that I plan to make this a regular place to eat. The shredded bean curd/pork dish was a bit too salty and didnt have Chinese celery in it, the way my mom makes it. Its ok though, took the leftovers home and sauteed with celery, yum! Would have liked more pickled mustard greens in the fried pork chop dish, otherwise it was good and would get it again. Beef noodle soup was pretty good, not as good as home made, but a decent substitute. The service was friendly and attentive. Cant wait to come back here.

Their sushi tastes wonderful. The size of the sushi compared to most is a little smaller, but the taste is definitely worth it. Normally when I order a spicy yellowtail roll they arent spicy at all, but the spicy yellowtail at this place is to die for. And delivery is very speedy as well. It took maybe fifteen minutes. Their online menu is limited, but you can call and ask if they have the sushi youre interested in. Also, there is apparently a $20 minimum for delivery and my order only came out to 17. The woman on the phone placed the order without it being $20 and I gave them a 20 at the door anyway. Philadelphia rolls here are also very good. My only complaint about the food is that the fish they use is a little fatty, but that is with most sushi places so I cant argue too much. Definitely try this place!

I wouldnt say super friendly or outstanding, but more typical of most Chinese restaurants. I have only been for lunch, and I think its the perfect place because no matter how much time I have it always works out. I have been in and out in under 20 mins without even telling them I was in a rush. I love the ginger chicken, not to saucy, and for a lunch portion it was PLENTY of food. Wonton soup is good, nice clear broth, and get those yummy crispy noodles. Ive also witnessed them getting deliveries of fresh not frozen vegetables, def a plus

Came here on Saturday for lunch. Based on the reviews, we were had high hopes. We had the hot and sour soup to start, which was ok. We ordered Taiwanese beef soup with hand cut noodles and fried pork chop noodle soup - both has good flavor and noodle was cooked just right. We also tried the juicy buns (aka soup dumplings), it was disappointing.. the steamer was not clean. The buns does not taste fresh, it has this vinegar taste in the filling, which I believe its not normal.. We regret visiting this place...must be an off day...

Great service and most importantly, the food is awesome. Im a picky eater and this place is legit. Their Taiwanese dishes are authentic as they get. Found this place last year and Ive been there at least 10x and counting, its that goooooood. Price is very reasonable and the portion is big. Also, they dont skimp out on the main ingredients that should be in the dish. I leave this joint full and satisfied every time. Only wish they open another store in Jersey City, Ill move next door!

The beef noodle soup is as youd expect from the name. And its one of the few places this side of the Hudson where you can find knife-shaved noodles. For all that I usually end up ordering the simple yet satisfying pork chop or chicken leg over rice. In the old country this would be served with a more authentic green than baby spinach. Of course the portion size wouldnt be so generously American either, so you win some, you lose some.

We have been going there for years. Weve always found the staff welcoming and friendly and the food is wonderful. They have always been willing to accommodate our tastes, suggesting dishes or preparing them especially to our liking. The service is quick but I never feel rushed. We enjoy the large menu. Our typical dinner usually features selections from the Japanese, Vietnamese and Chinese menues.

The staff was extremely kind. We have been playing Pokemon Go and they kindly asked if we found any Pokemon in the restaurant. The salmon skin hand roll was extremely crunchy and good and the yakidon was pretty good too. For a fairly low price, I was able to fill myself with a good meal. Afterwards, they gave us all free mango bubble teas which was a really nice surprise.

Love this place! My family has been eating here/ordering for 30 years. Sushi is always fresh, Im very picky about where I eat sushi because I dont trust many places but in my entire life this place never once has made me sick. I havent tried anything on their menu I didnt like. It is a little pricey but its definitely worth it.

Amazing service. Delicious tea and pickled cabbage. Had the "Little bit of everything" Taiwanese noodle soup. Could not stop eating it! Finished the whole bowl and some of my wifes pho. Cant wait to try something new from their various and fresh menu.

Pretty good food. Only issue is that price on drinks are not accurate - 2.95 for regular bubble tea and 3.95 (!) for taro bubble tea, instead of what is posted on menu and on their walls.

I love this place. The food is excellent. Fresh and delicious. The sushi is the best around. Family owned. There are a few other "Cantonese" places on the same street but none as good!

Authentic Taiwan flavors. The beef noodle soup, the hand-cut noodles, and the spicy intestine were all very good.
