aka "The Dirty Fan". Go here in the summer and you will see the dirtiest, most dust-laden fan blowing on the counter full of pizza. Order something with meatballs and youll instantly recognize them as the appetizer-sized ones you buy at Costco which are great when youre at home and dont want to make meatballs yourself, but when you go to an "Italian" establishment, you want to get a real homemade meatball which is bigger than a gobstopper. Ask them to turn a wrap on the specials menu into a salad instead (simply saying "hey I have a food allergy, can you take the contents of the wrap and put them on a bed of lettuce instead?") and be given attitude and when they agree to do it, literally provide you with a few strips of lettuce as the "salad." I nicely mentioned that I asked for it as a salad instead of wrap to be told that he was providing the amount of lettuce that would have been INSIDE the wrap. I said all I was asking for was for the contents to be place on a bed of lettuce, the money youre saving on a wrap is instead transferred to the cost of some lettuce. Instead of trying to please the customer, he (the sloppy owner) said nothing and simply walked away with no concern for my reasonable request or satisfaction. The next day, the specials menu which gets faxed to my co-worker said "Absolutely NO substitutions on specials." Lol, idiots. So instead we now routinely go to Mi Amore down the road which bends over backwards to please the customer and acknowledge that they accommodate allergy requests all the time. Their service shows in the fact that the place is always full. To Cafe Amici I say: Keep your dirty fan and your bad attitude, I dont give my money to lazy, dirty, sloppy people who think theyre doing ME a favor by being in business. PS - we spread the word at our office of 100 people to order elsewhere (we would often order multiple pies from them for special occasions), and gladly our advice has been taken and Ecco Pizza is happy about that.

We love Cafe Amici pizza, we found it when I lived nearby and now stop whenever we can even though we live in Manhattan. My finance cant tolerate dairy and the bruschetta pizza is amazing for anyone especially when you add Italian sausage . They are quick generally 20 minutes for even an extra large, everything is fresh, even busy times Fri and Sat nights they are not more than 45 minutes even for delivery. Its easy to miss its behind the main buildings in the middle. There is a small basic eating area and a few tables outside as its mostly delivery / take out. Everyone is always very nice and the service is great.

Best pizza around. To answer the issue of being dirty a few people mention, they are an old place and will look "dirty" because of it. Ive worked in food service and can say this place is no different then all the other places that people love. What matters is how they clean their cooking surfaces and I have never had even a hint of sickness after eating there. They are super nice to regular customers and if they are a little standoffish with new costumers they will respect you as long as you respect them.

People need to stop hating, Amicis is the best pizza in the Franklin Township area. I have been going here consistently since day 1 of their opening when I was in middle school. Even after moving out of town I still make the drive over monthly or so to go here. The service has never been bad in my experience. The unfortunate thing is most people go to write reviews only after theyve had a bad experience... The only pizza I do not recommend from them is buffalo chicken.

Best Pizza Anywhere. -- With most chain pizza you really cant understand what youre missing until you have it. Now I know. People from the various 5 Boroughs of NYC who know good pizza all agree that the pizza is amazing. Its a family business and the value is excellent. This is the only Pizza I crave, every other pizza is just a stand in when I cant get here. It will be difficult to move from here and miss out on this Pizza.

we have been going to Amicis for pizza for the past 10 years. Every party, we order from them. They are beyond friendly. Today they forgot my salad dressing, and I called just to let them know. Right away they said we will deliver it to you, not even knowing how far I might be. With in 10 minutes someone dropped it off. You can only get this kind of service from a mom and pop pizza place! Thank you.

Very rude service. Very dirty also i know that they keep the old pizza from last night and warm it up for lunch. Stay out of that place. So many other good place to eat in Somerset.This place should be close cause inside the kitchen this place is very dirty. One time one of my friend go a cockroach in his Caesar salad. So he called them but they where very nasty with him.

I live very close to this place and I have been quite impressed thus far. Their portions are almost novelty size, however the quality is not sacrificed at all. From their cold subs, specialty pizza, to pasta dishes its all been very good. Luckily they opened up a gym nearby. Haha

We have just recently been going to Cafe Amici because its much closer to us than the other pizza places around us. Their pizza is amazing and so delicious as well as their garlic knots and everything else. So far the best place to get top notch Italian food! ^_^

Stick with the gourmet pizzas. I ordered a margarita pizza and it was extra cheesy and slightly undercooked. The gourmet pizzas are usually very well balanced (with the toppings) and cooked just right (not under cooked nor burnt).
