Splendid time, when we arrived to this fine establishment it was obvious that only the cream of the crop was allowed nside due to the front door being locked. After entering the sweet aroma of nicotine filled the air. This dive still lives in the era where smoking isnt prohibited dispite it actually being totally prohibited by law. The other friendly patrons grumbled to us that the bar tender would be back in a few minutes to serve us. On her entrance we were presented with a list of craft bottled bullshit. Nothing better than a fine aged bud light. Sweet to the taste. After finishing a round of billiards on the chalk covered table we departed with a tip of a hat...and a grumble. We rode off into the sunset on the NJ transit....never again.

The place has a great bar tender however they have closed the kitchen since the daughter took over from her mother bad move a lot of people enjoyed the food. I dont know the last time I have seen a band in the place. It had a local 1% mc frequenting for some time that made the place a s#=T hole they are all but gone now and you can enjoy pool or a drink with your friends now. Small corner location could use a new sign and fresh paint to spruce up the place. All in all no food draw back for me as I like something when Im having a good time with friends. But I would stop in for a cold one open until 3am most nights if they have people.
