The best chai ever! The guy who took my order actually warned me about spiciness of it, and I was like "dude, I know what chai tastes like" . Turns out he had a point- this one was nothing like Starbucks style vanilla nothingness- it was rich and fantastic, definitely something to try ! Atmosphere is nice, but gets very crowded, and students take lots of space for laptops and studying. Nevertheless, I always look forward to coming here.

It seems like they have all kinds of coffee and tea drinks! This is a nice atmosphere in the heart of Princeton that attracts a lot of students and intellectuals. It just seems like a place where people hang out, discuss the meaning of life and generally have an intelligent conversation. The coffee and chi were pretty good. A bit pricey and the quantity is not very large, but that doesnt matter as much when you have good company.

Good coffee. Very busy at 1pm on a sat. They offer hand poured coffee (which I only see in Philadelphia around here) which is fantastic but they only do it after 6pm??? What is that about? I was told because they get a rush and it takes too long.. Or something like that. I want my morning or afternoon coffee hand poured and not wait till the evening. Places in Philadelphia offer this all the time and its never "too busy".

As far as coffee places go, this one has it all. The staff is very fun and friendly, the coffee is superb, the interior is excellent and spacious with many different seating options from high chairs to table and side tables. Had an almond croissant which was great. They even have a microwave so you can heat up your pastries and sandwiches. You can find the WiFi code in the mirror where the forks, knives and napkins are :)

After having lived in Princeton for 4 years, I moved to Mass. and I have to say that SWC (small world coffee) is probably the best coffee shop Ive been to in terms of coffee quality. I love visiting coffee shops (abso-bloody-lutely hate Starbucks) and I would rank SWC as number 1. Someday I will visit Princeton again and have a Vanilla Cap (Cappucino). I highly recommend SWC to folks who seek originality and flavour.

The. Best. I go to Small World nearly every day to do work. The staff is lovely, the atmosphere brilliant (with a touch of hipster), and the coffee smooth and fantastic. Id recommend this over the dark and dank Starbucks around the corner any day. If youre a discerning coffee drinker, try the latte -- guaranteed to be one of the best youve ever had! The baked goods are fantastic as well.

The good: the coffee is locally grown and the glass mugs make coffee consumption highly satisfying. Most of the university students do not come here because of the higher prices (instead preferring to go across the street) so the crowd is usually older. The bad: Barista was rude and unprofessional. Only cash is accepted (no credit) and tip is compulsory.

Sooo many fun options for coffee. This place is not super cheap but they make a great cup of coffee. The place is well lit, lots of students enjoy studying here, adults with young kids feel comfortable bringing them here, its a nice place to catch up with friends.

I met with a date at this place for the first time and I have to say I really love it. The staff were very polite and the place was very clean. Very chill atmosphere and great music. Although my date didnt go well (lol) I will definitely come back to this place!

Just to clarify, they are generally open until at least 10 (11 Fri-Sat) - not 9 as a previous reviewer states. Also - its a much, much better coffeehouse than anything Ive yet to find in Manhattan (which, admittedly, is not exactly a coffee town).

Never ate anything here, but their coffee is AWESOME. I had their espresso, which I didnt think was brewed correctly, but its worth another go. I truly think they have great coffee, and my family and I are coffee people, so please go!

Perfect little off campus cafe. Something like youd see on an episode of Gossip Girl lol Friendly baristas, great coffee and snacks. Lots of students sitting around with laptops working. Very chill environment.

The baristas at Small World Coffee were very nice and talked with me about my purchase. As a first time customer it was a great experience and looking forward to my next drink when I head back to Princeton.

Small world, Im told, is the place to get coffee in Princeton. The shop seems constantly chaotic, full of people waiting for drinks, working, and chatting. The coffee itself is good and reasonably priced.

Very good coffee and a good selection of cakes and food, friendly and fast service. Unfortunately there are never enough tables due to people bringing their book and laptops and staying the whole day.

It was charming. Great ambiance. Very intriguing and unusual selection. I tried the rough chai. Infused with black pepper, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon. Very spicy and great!!!!❤!

This is an amazing alternative to the big name coffee stores. Quite frankly, it should be the other way around, as just about everything that Small World Coffee offers is fantastic.

Best coffee in Princeton. Also great for fresh whole beans, usually roasted about 3 days ago on average, but weve found beans roasted one day ago a couple times.

Small World is a delightful mini-universe of coffees, teas, cakes, art, conversation and town-university interface. Definitely worth a visit -- and many more.

Cash only (and then they tell you a lot of places in Princeton are cash only... Uhm, no.). Their coffee tastes rather burned, but if you like that go for it

Nice place, always crowded and not to much seating. When the weather gets warmer they do have a few outdoor tables. Keep in mind this place is CASH ONLY

Only downside is cash only but cant blame them. Always good coffee and not the mega chain. Cool spot especially when they have outside seating open.

Iced coffee and espresso was fantastic. This location has much more seating than the Nassau location. Limited number of outlets available, cash only.

Excellent Cafe Lattes and fast service. I like this place much better than any Starbucks. When in the area, I would hit this place up every time.

Went here with a friend to do some work. Table set up was somewhat difficult with very limited access to outlets. Coffee was delicious though!

Great coffee and hosts, am surprised that people get their coffee from Starbucks despite this location being located a few meters away.
