I was so disappointed last night when I arrived at the restaurant. Last week I made a reservation for a business meeting for 7 and requested the "W" room off the main seating area. The reservation was for 7pm and I arrived at 6:15pm. Upon my arrival, the hostess was surprised that I was so early. I said I wanted to make sure the room was ready before my guest arrived. Her immediate response was that they had given the room away. I told the hostess that I had received a call at 12:45pm that day confirming my reservation I was clearly upset that now 35 minutes before my dinner meeting, I had few options. The manager came over and said there was nothing he could do but set us up in the main seating area. He apologized and responded that it is the restaurants policy not to reserve the "W" room. I told the manager that when I made the reservation that there was no mention that the "W" room could not be reserved. I also told the manager that when I got the confirmation call that afternoon I was told that the "W" room was reserved for my meeting. Interesting enough, the room was set up and no one was in the room at 6:15pm. Clearly they had the room reserved for someone because if it was first come first serve, I would have had the room. Someone is lying. That is the most distasteful part of this saga. I can understand mistakes but I cannot tolerate liars. I explained that I have eaten in the restaurant before and that the main seating area was very loud and was not conducive for business conversation. I received no satisfaction and left the restaurant. I have no plans on ever returning to the Salt Creek Grille ever again. A very unprofessional and business unfriendly organization that will not stand behind their own business. For a restaurant with average food, you would think that they would welcome these types of reservations. Fortunately, I was able to relocate my business meeting to Ruths Chris. The folks there were very accommodating. I explained that it was a business meeting for 7 people and that I was looking for some privacy. They could not give us a private room but they did set up a table in the back corner where we had privacy and an excellent dinner. I did not mind paying a little more for the dinner for excellent service and accommodations. Ruths Chris will be my choice of a meeting place going forward.

5/1/2016 Never again! One star because the salad was good. Service was slow and spotty---waitress disappeared for long stretches more than once. But, the main reason why Ill never eat there again is because my steak (I ordered the steak frites dish) was not identifiable as beef! It looked like pieces were unnaturally molded together and tasted like pork, rather than beef---but not even good tasting pork! It also had a horrible version of bearnaise sauce on top of the warm, not hot, piece of whatever it was. Steak lovers --- go to Ruth Chris a hop skip and jump away in the same shopping area. It befuddles me that what they serve as espresso is so far removed from even passable espresso, since its not that hard to produce good to great espresso with a little attention to how to do it right, if using the right equipment and coffee beans. Big fail! Lastly, I will never go back to any restaurant that cannot keep the mens room clean from floor covered urine beneath the urinals --- this was the case early last night and I cannot tolerate that kind of unconcern for this disgusting filth. What does it take for management to periodically police that room (which is expected to be full of germs) and clean and disinfect the damn floor throughout the dinner service!!! Dont know? Either do I !!!

First of all, the vaulted ceiling (perfect for a concert hall) amplifies the sound and it was so noisy with talk from other tables that we could not hear each other. After we were brought drinks our server disappeared for 20 minutes. After we put in our order another 30 minutes wait. I had the roasted chicken which was way over-cooked and flavorless. My wifes salad was mediocre. My daughter ordered the roasted butternut squash soup - it was so overly spiced that it tasted like soap! There was a french fry on the floor by our table the entire time that no on bothered to clean up. Altogether it was a dreadful experience and we will never go back.

Our experience was overall very good. Our service was great. My husband had the steak and I the Mahi Mahi. The portions were average. My fish was well prepared tasted very good. My husbands steak was delicious. I think I enjoyed that better than my fish. We ordered their specialty dessert, which you need to order during your meal so that it can be prepared appropriately. It was a chocolate genache. For $13.00 I expected much more, it was very bland and really had no taste. I would skip that for sure next time. Other than the poor dessert, I must say it was incredibly dark. I could hardly see my food.

We went Saturday 12-26-15 and Chris was our server. When you walk into the building it is awe inspiring, with maybe the biggest chandelier I have seen in my life with a ski lodge feel. Also has a few propane lite fire places which add to the ambience. But onto the food! I had baby back ribs the meat was fall off the bone which to me, is a good thing very tinder and juicy, with there salt creek grille bbq sauce, it has a difference (but good) zing taste at the end. Also had steak and shake like fries top with garlic. All in all, good service. great food!

I have eaten with friends and family at the Salt Creek Grille on many occasions and have always had a wonderful experience. However I went to grab drinks on a Thursday which has specials and was rather disappointed in the service. Im not someone usually hung up on this but the waiter was rude, threw the check in our face well before closing and when we asked when they did close he answered, "in 15 minutes", and was without a doubt coaxing us to get going. So again go for dinner but look elsewhere for a night out.

Not impressed and overpriced! Had the chicken BLT and my hubs had the turkey burger. Garlic fries were stale tasting with no flavor, pulled a big piece of nasty chicken skin off the chicken BLT and it was just bland! Husbands turkey burger was nothing special and his bread was super hard to chew. Lemonade was gross especially for $3.75 with no refills. Not kid friendly, they dont even have highchairs or booster seats...Never stepping foot in this place again!

The room was way too dark. My party needed phone light to read the menu. Overall service was good. Apps/Cocktails at the bar were good - sliders, calamari, ribs. New York Steak - Received as order - Medium. Flavorless and very tough. Never had a steak that tasted less like steak. Mashed and arugula side were good. Blues Burger - dry, tough, flavorless. Overworked. Patty half the size of the bun. Expected more at the price point for a "Grille."

We held an event there for our daughters 1st birthday and the entire staff was amazingly attentive, friendly, professional and the service exceeded beyond our expectations. Every staff member that we encountered was absolutely wonderful. All of our guests noted how great they were and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. We will definitely not hesitate to use them again for any event or for normal dining.
