Just happened to be around here when it was lunch time so we gave it a try. Its a cute little place, with a nice family atmosphere. The woman behind the register was also the waitress so its very casual. My friend got a slice of pie and I had the chicken parm sandwich and both were really good. The only weird thing was that her pizza came out like 5 minutes before my food, and nothing was said about it- not a warning before we ate, or a "sorry itll be out soon" or anything like that, eventually it just made an appearance. Prices are very reasonable though, and the waitress was nice. It seemed like there were a lot of regulars, which is usually a good sign. Well be back.

if a $3 service charge is necessary to bring my own wine, then u need it more then me. Will never go back . They promote BYOB then charge u $3 if u do not like there 2 choices of wine.Total scam. Lost a coustomer for $ 3 . If i brought beer or something else no charge , so being a wine drinking cost more money for the same glass as beer. Penny wise and dollar foolish. Food was good and servrered hot as it should be , A plus to the kitchen and and F to the management.

The food was absolutely disgusting. the service is bad too. they dont refill your drinks unless you ask them. the waiters are always talking to each other they dont really care if you need more drinks or not. ive been there two times and they were the same. also the tables and walls are disgusting. same as the menu. its greasy. also the calamari was so oily when they gave it to me. i wasnt even crunchy. absolutely disgusting.

What a surprise! Totally unassuming place located in a small strip mall. I had a Sat lunch appt there and arrived early and hesitated to go in. But boy was I wrong! Not a fancy place but the food was amazing. Huge portions. Got the Zupa di pesce and could not finish it between two adults and kids. The woman serving us was great even though she was the only server. Plan to go back to try other menu items.

Always loved all the food here! Great family restaurant . Moved to San Francisco years ago. Even with all the restaurants here still long for Pizza Man. From the garlic bread and salad to pizza, shrimp Norman , mussels, stuffed artichokes , veal dishes, etc. I still want Pizza Man! Want to jump on a plane & treat myself !

Worst meatball parm sandwich ever, meatballs not browned, cheese cold- seems like meatball, sauce and cheese was slid under the salamander and dumped on bread. Bread was not hot or toasted. Penne/meat sauce was serviceable, at best. Used to like this place when I lived in Pompton Plains, wont be back.
